Bill played an excellent game of bridge, and he was patient, kind, and thoughtful while teaching us his expert bidding methods during the past seven years. I first met him when he hand-delivered a stamp that I bought from him on eBay. We were both avid philatelists, and we developed a lasting friendship. His presence in my life will be forever missed.

Bill has been a consistent Liberty Mutual and Safeco Insurance President Award winner over the years.

Bill was a unique and genuine individual who invoked a smile every time his name was even mentioned. I was privileged to know him for the past twenty years and, even though it was a relationship separated by thousands of miles, the first words of every conversation made it seem as though we were only inches apart. One measure of a life well lived is the depth that a person is missed when they end this life's journey and Bill, you will be missed greatly.

Bill was passionate about the business, his team, his customers and members...he was a relentless advocate.  In the years (decades!) that I've known Bill, we not only talked business but his family and kids, travel, Pasadena, sports, and inevitably USC.  

He leaves a legacy and will be remembered

Our team and I are shocked and saddened by the news of the sudden and unexpected passing of Bill Kinney.

Bill was a visionary leader and dedicated insurance industry professional. He had a positive impact on the growth and success of our agency and we will be forever grateful for his mentoring.

My wife Irene and I are very sad to hear of Bill's passing. We worked closely together with Bill for several years when we had our own small cluster of insurance agencies before Bill moved on to SIAA and those were some good times. Bill was always the key force driving all of our success and never passed up a chance to meet on a golf course somewhere for a fun time! RIP Bill and keep 'em in the short grass on those heavenly fairways!

Bill had the best sense of humor.  I had a great connection with him.  I will miss his conversations with me.   This makes no sense. 
His passion for stamps was incredible.  I loved finding him the gems he loved.  As he was winding down collecting he turned to me to help him accomplish that.  We had a bond that was unique.   I will always cherish the friendship we had.   He loved his family so much.   Rest my friend. ❤️
