When this show was on TV, I was a little boy now that I’m an old man in the year 2025 I just started watching Perry Mason and love the show… William, who plays Paul Drake was a fine actor that I was not aware of until recently. He was a very beloved character on the show which made the show great. What I have been noticing in these old TV shows everybody smoked in excess. Which is probably what contributed to his stroke. I would like to wish him peace in heaven, and I hope his one child had a wonderful life.

I used to watch Perry Mason because of William. He sure was so cute. And what a great actor. I just found out today that he is buried in the same cemetery as my family. In fact the same gate. Thank you William for your time in the service and for your years as an actor. You are missed.

Many decades after his death, William Hopper is still helping Perry Mason solve crimes of passion and murders on TV as Paul Drake. His " hello beautiful" greetings to Della Street remains a favorite...RIP Sir....
