Brother Steve and Carol ,
They opened their homes and expressed the church by enjoying the One New Man among the saints and through all nations.

So sorry to hear about your loss. Brother Steve was an amazing brother in the Lord who always had something to share about Christ to me during the breaks and love feasts. I’ll greatly miss his fellowships with me. May he rest in peace and in the Lord’s presence.

Carol,

Steve was my dear and faithful brother in Christ. Over many decades I watched as he served behind the scenes and cared for so many. 

Because, as a doctor, I get calls from all over the place, I was afforded the opportunity to witness firsthand Steve's heart for people.  I was very impressed. During the COVID-19 pandemic, there was a huge politicization of the use of ivermectin for the treatment of COVID. It led to all kinds of conflicts. I felt that it was definitely beneficial, particularly in older people, and I began to prescribe it regularly for the patients who were really sick with COVID.  However, many pharmacies wouldn't fill my prescriptions. Because some couldn't get it filled at their pharmacy , Steve would often ship ivermectin to them overnight to help them recover from COVID. Steve was resourceful and brave in his desire to help the saints and I loved and appreciated him very much. 

May the Lord fill the hole in your heart with the departure of our beloved brother .

I knew Steve through my wife. Steve and Carol were truly our spiritual parents. When I got married in India, my wife and her father were living close to where Steve and Carol lived. As I prepared to come to the USA, I was very worried and unsure about everything.
My wife kept telling me, “Don’t worry—Steve has arranged everything.” And it was true. When I arrived, the apartment was already a home—fully furnished, with beds, furniture, and even a refrigerator. I did not have to worry about a single thing. She later told me that Steve had lovingly collected some furniture through church donations, and Carol had helped with many things as well. Steve personally brought everything and set it up for us.
In this new country, Steve and Carol were the first to invite us into their home. From the beginning, they were always there—helping us, supporting us, and encouraging us like true family.
In the very last days of his life, Steve and Carol were reading biblical books together with my wife, and I joined as well. Steve was a truly dedicated servant of God. He always carried the Bible, gospel tracts, and Christian literature with him wherever he went. Whenever we visited their home, we read the Word together. At every event, Scripture was central.
Steve shared that he gave gospel tracts to everyone he met. Once, even a cashier at a grocery store asked him, “Where is my tract?” That was who Steve was—faithful, bold, and joyful in sharing the Gospel.
I also noticed that whenever I visited, Steve was always working in his workshop, doing something useful. He never sat idle. His life was a beautiful example of faith in action.
Steve is a person we need to learn from. His life, service, love, and devotion to God have left a deep and lasting impact on us. We are forever grateful for him and will carry his example in our hearts.
May the Lord comfort Carol and everyone who loved Steve. His race was well run, and his legacy will continue.

Lord thank You for our faithful brother and gift to Your body.  Brother Steve was one of the first leading, responsible brothers I had the pleasure of knowing at the Church in San Antonio.   He was a pillar in the local church there.

May the Lord continue to bless his service in the Body and may much fruit come from his faithful labor.  Grace and love to Carol and their whole household.
