To my Dearest Father-in-Law (R.I.P) 🕊️ Please Know that you were loved by many people, friends and family.  I know you got sick, so God for some reason Took you a little earlier than he should have. I don’t know why… They say God works in mysterious ways, that I will never understand…why they take all the good people and leave all the f’d up ones behind. I heard many good things and stories about you, whoever raised you did an outstanding job… you were raised with manners and respect, something a lot of people don’t have anymore these days. I saw myself in the future going to visit you with my little Carebear, but unfortunately we were robbed of that opportunity. Thank you for being there for my Jessica. You will always be missed and you will never be forgotten. God bless you up there in heaven.

If my love could have saved you, you would have lived forever 😞 holding your precious hands every single day until God called you home was my favorite part of my day! I couldn’t wait to get out of work just so I can see your beautiful smile! Or even your eye roll telling me to take my butt home. There’s nowhere on this earth I would have rather been.  No matter how tired I was, or how much pain I might have been in.. or what I had going on in my life… my world stopped for you. No matter where I was or what I was doing… I would have dropped whatever it was just to be right by your side. You were there when I took my first breath, and I was there holding your hand as you took your last. My heart is shattered beyond repair… but I know you’re so happy where you are! Where you will always be happy, healthy and FREE. I love you so very much.

On July 21st some years ago… his Favorite grandchild was born ( SORRY BROTHER!) and I became the new princess in the house! He taught me how to read the newspaper, how to tie my shoes, how to pull weeds, how to water the grass, how to wash the cars, how to make the BEST toast with peanut butter and sliced bananas on top and my personal favorite: a weenie wrapped in a tortilla with cheese!! I have so many beautiful memories with my Papa it’s just so hard to only name a few. But i will carry them in my heart for the rest of my life! 

This man, was the most humble, most loving and gentle souls to have ever walked this earth. He smiled at everyone and said hello to those who passed him even if he didn’t know them. He’d speed up his walking just to make sure nobody ever opened their own door. The very epitome of a true gentleman.  If you needed him, he was there. If you didn’t feel good, he would go to the store… scoop you up some soups, sprite and jello… drop it off at the door… run back to his truck and call you just to say “hey! I left you some stuff on your doorstep! I’d love to stay but I’m not trying to catch whatever it is you have! Feel better! I love you and I’ll check on you tomorrow!!” 

Dad, thank you for all the beautiful memories you gave to me, all the advice, the life lessons… but most of all thank you for loving me, for believing in me and never giving up on me! I strived every single day to make you proud and i will continue to do so! I love you more than words could ever describe and i miss you even more. This isn’t goodbye, this is “I’ll see you later”.

On Wednesday, September 23rd 1942, Ronald Richard Aguirre was born to parents Elvira and Faustino Aguirre at General Hospital of Los Angeles, California.  He was the Oldest of 3 children! A Sister named Elizabeth or better known to others as “Patsy” and a brother named David. In High school, he met his forever love “Susan” or as my dad would say “My Susie or My Susie Q”.  Later on when he Joined the Army, he wrote letters home and always asked about his Susie. (I have those letters put away) from what I hear, he was quite the Casanova! Time went on and Ronald and Susan got married, bought a home and had 2 little babies of their own: Christopher and then my Mother Elizabeth. (I wont say what years those were, I can feel my mom staring at me) 

Ronald was a successful meat cutter for Ralph’s and Safeway just to name a couple. It was a career he enjoyed deeply! He always told me “Mija, if you love what you do… you’ll never have to work a day in your life” My Dad had many many passions, being a husband And Father was top of the list, later on a grandfather and then Great-grandfather!! Yeah, he got quite a few promotions in his lifetime! He loved to read, loved his music, loved making sure the cars were clean, the front yard and back yard was ALWAYS crisp and presentable <~ and may i add that he was that way about his appearance as well???  The Hair had to be just right, clean shaven and smelling like “Aqua Velva” after shave, freshly brushed teeth, clothes that didn’t have 1 wrinkle on them, thanks to my grandmother who would probably spend an hour ironing just his shirt alone! I don't even want to know how long the pants took!! And after careful inspection making sure they were wrinkle free and LINT free, he put on his clothes and the shoes that he shined! I can still hear the sound of that brush against his boots or shoes!!!

You were such a kind and gentle soul and we were so blessed to call you family. Thank you for all your kind words and generosity you never failed to show us. We love you Ron, forever and always.

I’m missing his laugh! Remembering the times as kids  that we would watch the Three Stooges on TV and you would  just laugh laugh laugh. The times I would tickle you just to hear you laugh.  I want to Thank you OLDER brother for your calls to check up on me to ask if there was anything I needed and  to encourage me to keep on smiling and if need be to take deep breaths and to know that he was there for me. Missing you so so very much!!

Ron and I talked often over the phone or over the wall in the front yard, he also drove my impala to the car show with me.  He will be missed.  Like Rene said Ron was the coolest neighbor anyone could ask for.  Condolences from the Bonneville family.

Ron and Sue moved in next door in 1963 the same year I was born.  I was lucky enough to have known Ron  and Sue my entire life. Ron will forever be missed by the Bonneville family .  With all my love Rene Bonneville  and the Bonneville  family God Bless.

He always had a smile on his face, such a sweet man. He was loved and admired by us all. Sending love to Susie, Elizabeth, Richie and the whole family.

To Susie, Chris and Liz, my condolences in the loss of a dad and husband, may you always live with all good memories which he would want of his family to do. My prayer and hugs are with you all, may God bless him and may he rest in peace.🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽.         sSusie , I will always remember when we had Los Primos Meat Market , Ronnie and Rene would make us work hard but on Fridays after we closed the store neighbors would come and we would drink and sing , remember that Susie?

It has been a week. But it feels like only yesterday. When I would wake up and hear Pops blowing his nose in the bathroom. Or him raking leafs outside my window. From walking me to school or driving me in the truck. I still feel like, Pops never changed. From the many things he taught me as, a father would to a son. For example teaching me how to tie a tie. Even teaching me how to tie and polish my shoes. From how to shave to, how to drive. Including how to just be there. But most importantly how to be a gentleman with manners.  Just Like he always was. Pops never failed to be there. When anyone who needed him. When you would see his blue truck pull up in front, or hear his keys jingle. The feeling of relief would hug your heart. Now I sit here to realize. All this time he came to the rescue. He was just teaching me. Simple be there. No matter what. Drop what you’re doing and go to help. He instilled many things in to us. That we to always put others first, before ourselves. We are all tough and stubborn just like Pops. But always caring and loving with big hearts. Forever the man I introduced him to my daughter as “ Pops the legend”. I love you dearly Pops.

My Dearest Papa,
NOTHING… and I mean NOTHING.. could’ve EVER prepared me for this day or ANY day. Heaven is going to be a much more beautiful place with you in it.  🕊️ Thank you for the beautiful almost 37 years you gave me. You loved me beyond compare, I was and will ALWAYS be “Your Jessica” your little princess. You’ve shown me such an unconditional love that I ever could’ve imagined. You showed me grace, mercy and forgiveness. You always showed up for me, you never told me NO. You always taught me to be strong, to use my head (I try to) and to enjoy life. God took away my heart a week ago today. But I know that he always takes the best angels with him. Dad, I love you more than I could ever put in words. I hate that you had to go so soon… but I will see you when it’s my time. Visit me often in my dreams and watch over us. I miss you so much.
