He grew up in Paramount, CA, and graduated from Paramount High School. He later received a degree from Cerritos College for Business. Professionally, he spent his career in software engineering, both coding and managing, which he began astutely while the field was yet in its infancy. He was highly respected and recognized for his dedication and work ethic. His career spanned across companies such as TRW (now Northrop Grumman), First American and IBM.
A natural athlete, Paul enjoyed playing sports from a young age. In high school, he lettered in football and began surfing, both of which he continued to enjoy into adulthood. As an adult, he could regularly be found playing softball, beach volleyball and golf. He also enjoyed water and snow skiing with his family.
Paul was a devoted father and granddad who took immense pride in his family. He dedicated his life to raising his two daughters and was a constant source of support, wisdom, and love in their lives. He cherished his relationships with his grandchildren, whom he would regularly call or travel by airplane to visit.
In his later years, Paul was happiest when spending time with his children and grandchildren, playing golf or watching his favorite teams. He was a loyal fan of the Los Angeles Rams and the Los Angeles Angels. He will be remembered most for his gentle spirit, sharp intellect and the profound legacy of love he leaves behind.
