Onesimo Corral Baca

With hearts full of love and gratitude for a life beautifully lived, we celebrate the life of Onesimo Corral Baca, who peacefully entered into the presence of the Lord on July 28, 2026, at the age of 66, surrounded by the love of his family.

Born on January 31, 1960, in Chihuahua, Mexico, Onesimo was a devoted husband, a loving father, a cherished son, brother, uncle, and friend whose life reflected his unwavering faith in God.

His greatest joy and most cherished role in life was being a loving husband to his beloved wife, Rosa Emma, and a devoted father to his beautiful daughters, Stephanie and Jacqueline. He was a present and dedicated father who cared deeply for his girls, always protecting, guiding, supporting, and loving them with all his heart. His family was his greatest blessing, and he devoted his life to caring for and providing for the three women he loved most.

Onesimo lived with humility, kindness, and a servant’s heart, always putting others before himself. He was known for being a helping hand to those around him and for treating everyone with dignity, respect, and genuine compassion. His generosity, warmth, and ability to make others feel loved left a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to know him.

Known for his infectious smile, wonderful sense of humor, and positive spirit, Onesimo brought joy and light wherever he went. He had a special gift for making people laugh and reminding others to cherish life’s blessings.

During his courageous fight with cancer, Onesimo remained steadfast in his faith and continued to trust in God’s plan. Through every trial, he chose faith over fear, hope over hardship, and gratitude over uncertainty. His strength, courage, and unwavering trust in the Lord inspired everyone who walked alongside him.

Onesimo leaves behind a legacy far greater than words can express. A legacy of faith, selfless love, generosity, kindness, and compassion that will continue to live on through the lives of all those who were blessed to know him. Though he will be deeply missed, we find comfort knowing he has been welcomed into the presence of his Savior and that the example he set will continue to guide those he loved.

A Viewing and Rosary will be held on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Rose Hills Memorial Park, SkyRose Chapel, 3888 Workman Mill Road, Whittier, California.

A Funeral Mass celebrating Onesimo’s life will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Rose Hills Memorial Park, SkyRose Chapel, followed by the graveside service at the Garden of Commemoration.
