I was frozen in time with a pain in my heart. I could not say these words out loud, so here I write them. 
To all her grandchildren, she was our moms; she was our second mom.
She was a strong, caring, generous woman. She saw goodness in people. She loved to share stories about moments in her life with those she loved. She was the glue that our family had through the tough times. She put the other needs above her own. She always said she didn't want to feel like a burden, but she never was one to us. When you were sad, she knew how to cheer you up. We will never forget the things you did for us, whether those things were small or large. We will cherish those memories in our hearts forever. When we are sad, we will reach into our hearts to find those memories that will bring us joy and comfort.
Moms, we promise you that we will look after Abuelo and be there for each other. Thank you for everything you did for the family. You can rest in peace knowing we will be okay. It will take some time, but we will get there with love and support from friends and family. We will love you always and forever.

This hurts a lot, to be honest it’s really hard to find the words because I never thought this would happen. Heaven gained another angel, the greatest wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother that you can ask for. Made sure to take care of everyone first before herself even on days she was tired and exhausted she always put her family first. Us grandkids called you moms because that’s who you are to us. Helped raise my siblings and I whenever our parents were working. Made sure that we ate, that we got ready for school, and made sure we worked on our homework so that we could have the best education to strive for our dreams. You are truly a superhero, prioritizing the well-being of others. Always there to comfort us whenever we weren’t ok. Always doing anything that would help/benefit us. A great role model that helped shape me into the man that I am now. Continuing to strive to be the best version of myself and caring for others like you. All these memories flowing back. The times you picked me up from school, your little prayer for good luck whenever I had a baseball game, then the following day asking me how it went and if I lost you told me that it’s ok and I’ll win next time, and to all the family events we’ve had seeing your smile for how happy you were to see us grandkids bonding. I’m gonna miss you so much moms. Gonna miss our small talks and your prayers for me when I would head out to school. Praying for nothing bad to happen to me and to be careful because there’s too many crazies out there. I know you’ll still be here with me watching me on my journey and watching over the rest of the family. Gracias por todo. Te amo por siempre moms.

I wouldn't have thought this would have been your last birthday with us. Seeing how happy you were makes me feel better, even though I am in pain mourning your loss.

Our lost the most amazing mother, wife, grandmother, and great-grandmother.  She was the glue that kept us together during the hard times and ensured we all felt loved always.  To all of her grandchildren, she was our moms. She was a brave, strong, caring woman. She played a significant role in shaping me into the person I am today. She was always by my side. She cared for me when I needed her most, and as I got older, I did the same. You always told me to follow my passion and not let others stop me from doing what I want. I will continue to work hard and make you proud. I know you will always be with us in spirit. Thank you for everything you did for me and the family. I promise you we will be okay, it will take time, but we will be okay. I know you will always be watching over all of us. You can rest easy knowing we will be there for Abuelo and each other. Siempre estarás en nuestros corazones. Te amo siempre y para siempre.

The world has lost a brilliant magnificent woman on December 17, 2024. She has left behind a legacy of love, strength, wisdom, and so much more than what I could describe. My moms (abuela) has always been in my life and truly was my 2nd momma. She played a significant role in my and my brother's upbringings. She was such a dedicated woman and had no issues with stepping into a role of a motherly figure for us while our parents worked. Her and Abuelo’s home has always been a place of comfort, warmth, laughter echoed, and we knew we were loved the moment we walked in. Her beautiful soul was a gift in our lives and her absence leaves a void that can never be filled or replaced. Despite her presence being gone we take comfort that her love still emulates to help guide us in life. Her memory will continue to live on through all of our lives. She will truly never be forgotten nor gone as her legacy will live through us all. I deemed her our family matriarch as she lived with such warmth and love, which in hindsight she made everyone feel like her child regardless of the relationship title she had with the person. She was a mother to all. I would give anything in this world to be prayed over or lectured by her again. With her kindness and loving nature, she was just as tough, stubborn, feisty and was a role model for the women in her family. Truly just a timeless woman. She opened the doors for the women in her family and our accomplishments all have to do with the help of her. Thank you so much, moms. I promise to continue my education and become a lawyer to show what women in this family are made of. If I could be half as determined, strong, and loving as you in this lifetime, I'd consider myself entirely lucky. No need to worry, moms. I know you will continue to watch over us and worry, but rest easy you deserve it. The rest of us will take care of everything here and watch over Abuelo.

My moms (abuela) was always so happy to watch us grandkids opening up our gifts on Christmas Eve. It deeply saddens me that we won't have that beautiful smile of hers this year all excited to see what we received for Christmas. But I take comfort in knowing she will be smiling regardless of where she is 💜
