You were such a beautiful person inside and out. From the moment I came into your son’s life, you welcomed me with open arms. For 17 years, you’ve been part of my world, and I’ll always be thankful for everything you taught me and shared with me.

You raised an incredible son ,  the man I’ve loved for so many years , and I see so much of you in him. Your strength, your heart, your stubbornness at times , all the things that made you you live on through him. Loving him has always been a reminder of the love and lessons you passed down.

I’ll never forget our talks, your advice, or the way you could make me laugh when I really needed it. You were more than a mother-in-law to me , you were family, and I loved you.

Thank you for everything, for your love, your honesty, and your presence in my life. I’ll miss you deeply, but I know you’re at peace now. I’ll carry your memory and the love you left behind always.

Nana your very missed and loved from all of us, I remember when you found out I was pregnant your were soo happy and couldn't wait till we found out what I was having, I remember coming to see you a few days before I was gonna go in to have the baby i told you I was so scared but you gave me a hug and said mija everything will be ok god is watching over you always, I never will forget the way you hugged me to tight,  I love you nana forever and always you'll never leave me,  especially whenever I go to the casino I laugh thinking of you carrying your heavy diaper bag around feeling it had rocks inside lol truly one of my funniest memories of you.

Honey, we met 56 years ago in the summer of 1969, cruising on Whittier Boulevard (imagine that) I followed your sister‘s car until I caught up to her and we met and you gave me a fake name, not really a fake name it was actually your middle name. From that day forward we started to date then we got married in the spring of 1970, the rest of history. We had 3 wonderful respectful children. We now have 5 grandchildren and 3 great Grandchildren and 1 on the way. They are too young to remember their great grandma but their mothers and I will make sure they know who you were, honey. I’m very lonely without you, my heart and my life are half gone without you. I have my kids and all the family support but I’m still lonely. I lay in bed you’re not there, I sit at the dining table, You’re not there. I sit on the recliner in the den, You’re not in yours. I get in the car, You’re not in the passenger seat. I just miss you so much and I loved you every second of every day since I met you and I will love you forever more till my day comes then we’ll be together again right now. I’m lonely sad and my heart is broken in a million pieces. I saw the pain you were in and I didn’t want to let you go, but that would be selfish. Only God knows our destiny and yours was to not suffer anymore. Love you for eternity your husband

My beautiful mother, 55 years ago to the day you & dad brought me into this world. This morning I woke up and for the 1st time I didn't have a text from you, wishing me a blessed day on the day I was giving life. I have a voicemail you left me in July rhat I saved and I play it everyday just to hear your voice. My heart is broken. I will be forever grateful for our talks, laughter and the time we spent together. Mom I love so much

I have so many memories of us together Sister. I will always miss you.

Sending our heartfelt sympathies for the loss of Lorraine. I had the privilege of meeting Ray & Lorraine years ago at the elementary school that their grandson Angel and my daughters attended. It was by faith that I believe we were meant to meet. Being that we are also Garcia's and huge Dodgers fans, Ray & Lorraine made us feel like family. Every morning as they had their routine of walking together around the school we would stop and talk and got to know each other. What I thought was just nice causal talk turned into a beautiful friendship. Ray & Lorraine got to know my daughters, husband, mother & father who was also a huge Dodgers fan and they too talked baseball for hours. I have opened up my life up to Ray & Lorraine and saw them more like family than just friends. Every encounter at the market or in Pico we were always catching up on each other's lives. When my dad passed away a year ago they were supportive and there for me and my mom I can't thank them enough. Now I'm here for you, even though there isn't any right words to say that can change what you're going through, I feel your pain and just know that Lorraine isn't gone. Lorraine has left so many people beautiful memories and inspiring words that we will carry and remember her for always. Heaven has gained a beautiful angel who will keep looking out for all of us. Thank you for allowing me and my family the privilege of knowing such a sweet and kind soul.

It was a true privilege to have known Lorraine (aka comadre) we had a special connection . I will forever remember her warm greeting,  big hugs and beautiful smile

I’m so saddened about Lorraine’s passing. She was such a special person, and I know how deeply she’ll be missed. I hope you can take comfort in all the beautiful memories you shared and in the love that surrounds you.
Growing up, she was such a big part of our childhood memories, always smiling and willing to open her home to all of us, neighborhood kids. 
She was truly loved and respected by us all.
