It is with deep sorrow and loving memories that we announce the passing of Kathleen Diane Robertson, age 78, of Lakewood, California, who passed away peacefully on July 10, 2025, surrounded by her beloved family.
Born on December 16, 1946, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Kathleen was the devoted wife of Michael Robertson for an extraordinary 62 years. She was a loving mother to Michael, Steven, Daniel, and the late David; a proud grandmother to eight grandchildren; a cherished aunt; and a beloved sister.
Kathleen’s life was defined by her kindness, warmth, and unwavering dedication to her family. She created a joyful and welcoming home, where family gatherings were a source of deep happiness. Holidays—especially Christmas—held special meaning for her. Each year, she poured love and care into decorating her home and hosting festive Thanksgiving and Christmas celebrations, sharing the holiday spirit with everyone who walked through her door.
She found immense joy in traveling with family and friends, creating memories that will be treasured for generations. Whether on an adventure or at home, Kathleen’s gentle presence and selfless love uplifted all those around her. She never missed a family member’s birthday, holiday, or special occasion—always sending a thoughtful Hallmark card filled with warm wishes to mark the moment.
In addition to her devotion to family, Kathleen enjoyed a long and fulfilling career. For over 25 years, she worked as a printing specialist at Office Depot, formerly Eastman Incorporated. She was deeply respected by colleagues and customers alike for her professionalism, dedication, and integrity.
Kathleen is survived by her husband, Michael Robertson; her sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Paula; Steven and Christine; Daniel and Teddi; and Katina; and her niece, Melanie Corral and family. She was preceded in death by her beloved son David, who passed earlier this year, and her brother Doug, who passed late last year.
A memorial service to celebrate Kathleen’s life will be held on Friday, July 25th at 3:00 p.m., at Rose Hills Memorial Park – Hall of Grace. Family and friends are warmly invited to attend and honor her memory.
Kathleen’s legacy of love, compassion, and quiet strength touched all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and eternally remembered. May her kindness and actions continue through the many lives she has touched.
