Sometime later, the family moved to San Dimas where she attended elementary through High school. In High school, she met her sweetheart Timothy O. Shepherd, whom she was dedicated to for the next forty-five years until the Lord called her home.
Karen enjoyed being a wife and a mother to her four children and “G-ma” to her six grandchildren. Karen worked in retail for several years. She attended college to become a medical records clerk, which she enjoyed doing. Karen was a friendly person and had no problem making friends or striking up conversations. She also enjoyed baking, making crafts, crocheting, and looking through Pinterest for new ideas. Karen loved to text loved ones after getting a smart phone. Karen also enjoyed spending as much time as she could with her grandchildren on shopping and lunch dates.
