Joshua Steven Mora was born on March 23, 1991 in the City of Montebello California, to Yolanda Marie Mansillas and Sergio Mora. He was raised by his mother Yolanda with the help of his grandmothers Kathryn Rubio and Alejandra Torres. With no shortage of aunts, uncles, and cousins, Joshua grew into a fun loving, happy, and vivacious child. Joshua attended Laurel Elementary School and Hillview Middle School in the City of Whittier where he, his mother, stepfather Robert and younger brother Reise resided. Joshua and his family moved to the City of La Habra in 2005. Joshua recently completed his high school education at La Vista High School in the City of Fullerton. He had made plans to join the United States Army to serve his country.Though we were blessed with Joshua only a mere 18 years, the impact he made on people’s lives and the joy he brought in that short period of time, has been displayed with the numerous stories told by family members, friends, and acquaintances. They are stories filled with his kindness, his love of children, his loyalty, and of course his comedic nature. On November 1, 2009, God decided it was time for his child to come home. His beautiful smile and soft eyes will be sorely missed by those left behind. Joshua is survived by his mother Yolanda, father Sergio, brother Reise, and sister Zaylin along with his grandmothers Kathryn and Alejandra.
