This was my first trip with Jonathan we all had so much fun. And ever since then you been like my little brother too. You always made me laugh at all the parties. I'm going to miss mostly bugging you and telling you to stop acting crazy. Life won't be the same without you. Miss you and hope to see you again

Thank you for all the funny memories Jonathan. I’ll miss having you as my Drake and concert partner and always being here for whatever I wanted to do. Even when we last minute decided to go stand outside the box office in the middle of LA to try and get Drake tickets, we all knew it was a bad.. yet you were there walking around Crypto Arena becoming friends with the scammers trying to score me some tickets. Even though we never got in we always looked back at the moment knowing we had fun and went for the adventure. You always said Drake made the song  “Controlla”  about you because your last name was Canchola. I’ll cherish all the funny videos I have of you doing dumb things like popping champagne bottles and getting yelled at by your mom about it or dancing in random stores. You never turned down an opportunity to pose for a picture. I’ll miss hearing you yell “SAMMY” every time we saw each other. Miss and love you Jonathan. I know you’re up there popping bottles and eating chips with tapa.

Jonathan is my Brother. Him and I had somewhat similar story’s being rebellious of our parents. If I got in trouble with my parents I went to Jonathan and he came to me when he had a problem with his. We have both always been eachother safe place. But little did Jonathan know I needed him in those moments more than he needed me.

Jonathan ALWAYS showed up for me. He would has never let me down or left me out. Jonathan saw through my image of always being strong. He knew when to call me or show up to see me .

I remember leaving my family and my life as I knew it for 6 or so months. I knew I’d be okay and I knew I had to be strong. But I also remember the week before family day I felt an overwhelming feeling of weakness and wanting to give up. Come the day of family day Jonathan was one of them loudest to call out to me, second to my Nina lol. And when him and I finally got to talk he told me he had missed me and he had been thinking of me. He told me he believed in me and that he wouldn’t let me give up.  Jonathan believed in me when I couldn’t find a way to believe in myself.

Being around Jonathan was like living through a dream. He pushed me past my personal bubble. He showed me there is love beyond family. Jonathan showed love in a way that was intoxicating, and no matter how long it had been since you last seen him that love was ALWAYS there.

Jonathan is my little not so little brother. Him and I shared soo many memories but one of them I’ll never forget is sharing graduation day. We both graduated during the beginning of the COVID 19 pandemic. A time where the world stopped and it brought sadness and hopelessness to most, but for us as long as we had eachother we always celebrated the moment.

I'm very sorry for you loss,  their no words but my heat brakes for you, sending you a big hug and May God comfort you thru this great loss of your son Jessica.
