Isaac was a gifted producer, musician, chef, and innovator whose creativity and warmth touched everyone he knew. For more than a decade, he ran his Whittier music studio, welcoming top talent and creating music that reflected his vision of connection through sound.
He was also an accomplished chef who delighted family and friends with gourmet creations, often declaring his favorite dishes “fire.” Isaac always said, “When you cook with love, it makes everything taste better.”
Known for his generosity, humility, and unshakable spirit, Isaac had a rare gift for making others feel welcomed, valued, and at ease.
Isaac knew the Lord, and we take comfort in the promise that we will see him again. Though our hearts are heavy, we rest in the assurance of God’s love and the gift of eternal life through Christ.
He is survived by his parents, Ismael and Lorraine Cortez; his sisters, Hannah Burgos and Sarah Joy Cortez; and he is a beloved uncle to Sabrina and Ren.
