Hector was known for his funny sense of humor, infectious smile and unconditional love for people. Hector was definitely a family man and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He worked for the El Monte School District for 24 years. Hector was a huge fan of sports. When he was younger he played basketball and when he was older he played on softball teams and loved to golf. You could catch Hector at Lamp Post cheering on his favorite sports teams. But his true passion was coaching, he coached many teams for his children and his family members. He was also known for his BBQ skills, you would be considered lucky if he gave you a sample off the grill. Hector was a humble and selfless man who loved God and would volunteer his time to help those in need. He met the love of his life Cindy. She was his Mina and he was her Kudi. They have shared many blissful years together as husband and wife and had 3 children. Hector and Cindy recently renewed their vows on their 39th anniversary.
Hector is survived by his wife Cindy (Mina), son Hector (HR), daughters Corrina (Coribells) and Rebecca (Rebe). He is also survived by his father Hector Medina Sr, brother Gilbert, and sisters Susan, Mercy & Araceli as well as many other family members and friends.
