Delia Vasquez, born August 21, 1934 in La Pryor Texas, passed away peacefully at her home in Pico Rivera on August 6, 2026, surrounded by the love of family and friends. She left this world just weeks shy of her 92nd birthday, having lived a life filled with grace, humor, and unwavering devotion to those she cherished.
Delia was known for her impeccable style – always dressed beautifully, her hair perfectly done, her striking green eyes framed with elegance. The soft, familiar scent of Chanel No. 5 followed her everywhere, a signature as timeless as she was. She had a gift for making everyone feel welcomed, seen, and cared for. Her wit was sharp, her humor effortless, and her presence lit up every room she entered.
A devoted mother, Delia is survived by her three children – Art, Carlos, and Irma – and lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Brianne, Greg, Ryan, as well as her seven great-grandchildren: Jade, Jaylene, Evonny, Esmirah, Christopher, Emma, and Eden. She was preceded in passing by one child Johnny, whom she now joins in eternal peace.
Delia loved music, dancing, gardening, and spending time outdoors. She had a remarkable green thumb and could bring any plant back to life, nurturing them with the same care she gave to the people around her.
The Vasquez family extends their heartfelt gratitude for the prayers, love, and support shared during this time. Delia’s spirit lived on in every life she touched, and her family – Art, Carlos, and Irma – send their love to all who hold her in their hearts.
