

As the second son of 8 siblings he attended Keppel Union Elementary School and also Palmdale High School before the family moved to Los Angeles where he attended and graduated from Los Angeles High.
In 1975, he started his career with The City of Los Angeles Recreation and Parks where he would become a heavy equipment operator. Within his career he started a teaching program where he received many awards from the City, along with being in various newspapers for helping the most minorities become educated in heavy equipment operations.
On August 9,1980, he married his high school sweetheart Luana Rideau and had his first and only child Stacy Charisse Washington on December 24, 1981.
He leaves behind three sisters Beverly, Linda and Hertha on this earth. He gains his wings with his brother George and sisters Wanda, Rita and Alta.
