Born in Prescott, Arizona, Connie spent her youth in Winslow, Arizona. At, approximately, 16-years-old she moved to Los Angeles, California. From the age of 29 to 84, she continued to build a beautiful life in Pico Rivera, California. She now resides comforted in the arms of our Lord and has been reunited with her dear son, Joey, her great-granddaughter, Rebecca Lee, her parents, Stella and Nestor, and her siblings: Sonny, Ronald, Phillip and Geraldine.
Connie is survived by her husband of 63 years, Johnnie Macias, her children: Johnnie Jr., Lorraine, Michael, and Missy, her grandchildren: Isaac, Matthew, Gabriel, James, Sonny, Joseph, Mark, Christopher, Connie, Estelle, Joseph and Salvador, her great-grandchildren: Anjalysse, Kaleb, Jayleen, Jayden, Janeen, James, Ellie, Amelia, and Joseph.
Connie was the physical representation of unconditional love. Innumerable people have been blessed by her generosity and her desire to help. The doors of her home and heart were always open to those in need and she opened those doors, throughout her life, without question or judgment. Through the trials and tribulations of life she grew to be strong and independent yet she always remained steadfast and loyal to her choice to lead with love. She is, and will always be, a miracle.
Though she leaves many broken hearts behind, she planted and cultivated countless seeds of love that have and will continue to bloom and grow exponentially. Her memory and legacy has permeated all of the hearts she touched and she will live on through them forever.
