

She was born in Taiwan on March 13, 1956 to “Jimmy” Lai Chih and Lin A Chuan. The eldest of four children, Cindy and her siblings were raised in a loving home. A bright and dedicated student, she excelled academically and went on to graduate from the Department of Statistics at Fu Jen Catholic University.
Cindy married Jacob Lu in 1980, and together they immigrated to the United States in 1984. She went on to build a lifelong career in real estate, forming lasting relationships with clients and colleagues. In the early 2000s, Cindy and Jacob also founded Fountain Music Center, a business that became a cornerstone of the community by supporting local schools and fostering a love of music through education.
She will be remembered by friends and family as playful, lighthearted, loving, and kind. She was a devoted Christian who found joy in serving her church and community.
Cindy is survived by her sons, Alexander and Benjamin, and her beloved grandchildren, Elsa, Elias, Matthew, and Liam. She remained deeply connected to her younger siblings - Joe, Yu-Leng, and Michael, cherishing their lifelong bond.
Cindy Yufen Lu will be laid to rest on Tuesday, September 23, 2025 at the Garden of Serenity in Rose Hills Memorial Park.
