ALFRED ERNEST JACKSON

1950-2023

Alfred Ernest (“Ernie”) Jackson was born September 29, 1950 in Bolton, Lancashire, England. He was an only child, a musical prodigy winning many competitions in Europe. He continued his love of music in the United States and went on to become a very accomplished pianist. In 1964 Alfred and his parents, Alfred Sr. and Violet Jackson, emigrated to the United States and settled in South Gate, California.

He attended UCLA and graduated with honors in chemistry. Upon graduation, he worked as a chemist for Technicolor. In 1992 Alfred graduated law school and began a 30-year career in private practice, primarily in the area of wills and trusts. He passed away on Easter Sunday, April 9, 2023 upon succumbing to a lengthy illness. He is survived by his mother, Violet Jackson, a first cousin, and several very close friends. A memorial service will be held at a future date.
