I have never met Yvette, but her journey over the last year has been shared with me by Mel and Nick. My heart aches for each of you and my love and prayers go out to all.
I can tell from the video and from my visits with Mel that you have a loving and happy family.
I  pray that God will comfort and care for you while you remember and celebrate Yvette.
I pray also that He will give you the strength, courage and wisdom  you need to carry on.

I was so saddened to hear about Yvette passing. I know that  she was well loved and respected. She had great character and a big heart.  My deepest condolences to you and your family during this dark time.  Please know that  you our in my prayers and thoughts.

I love you all very much! She is now my BCFL (best Cousin for life) in heaven and I am comforted to know I will see her again. You are all in my thoughts, my heart and my prayers. So many memories together, I think the best memory was Yvette and I the night we met Chuy!! Love you all. Fly high and free my sweet BCFL....

Dear Chuy, kids and family,
We were so sad to learn of Yvette's passing.
I am so glad to have met Yvette on my brief trips and she has left a lasting impression on me.  
God had better plans for her.....and I trust she is now resting in peace in heaven with all our other dearly departed.
What they say....about time healing....is true!  
In the meantime, I hope the happy memories will carry you and the family through these sad times.
A mass will be offered for the repose of her soul in Hong Kong on Thursday, 11th  March.

Yvette was my big sister with her cousin Ronda, who tormented the foursome growing up -- Johnny, Paul Pierce (Neri), Jason Hart, and myself. I was the calming influence to keep us out of trouble.  Yvette was my family growing up, as were the Martin Family.  From playing wiffle baseball in the front yard with a bat that handle and half a bat top, football, or intellivision in Johnny's room I was there.  Yvette was never mean to me growing up, although they teased me about girls for years. Brats ! I lost Yvette on one day, then the next day I lost Paul Pierce (Neri). To lose people that mean the world to you is heart breaking. Love you big sis forever ! Chuy Im just 1/4 mile away brother if you need me ever.

Dear Yvette, 
I pray that your last breath on earth was your first breath at the gates with numerous family members waiting for you to celebrate your homecoming.... Prayers, Love and Condolences Chuy, Phillip and Melissa and the Hernandez and Martin families and everyone else that loves and misses Yvette... Praying everyone has their personal memories to help embrace them through the pain, we all are sharing... REST EASY COUSIN! Love Ant 

Even though we haven’t talked in years. Yvette you still were my Comadre. She baptized our oldest daughter Anita. So many memories. From high school too both our weddings birth of our kids. Family gathering and just all of us getting together. Along with all of our kids.  Enjoying life. 
I know you are resting In peace and with no more pain and suffering.

No words can express the heartbreak or the sorrow. Yvette was so thoughtful and so kind. Her smile lit up the room and she had the best sense of humor. She is so loved because she always showed love, even through her fiery comebacks! And that laugh!!! She is beautiful, inside and out. It’s difficult to understand this tragedy or the plans GOD has for us-even seems unfair. Please know that the BLESSED MOTHER and her SON are carrying you through this difficult time and they have already welcomed her into heaven. We LOVE YOU ALL  SOOO VERY MUCH, and will ALWAYS be here for you and the entire family. 

Yvette , was such a bright spirit every time I came to the house to visit Marla and the babies she was always there with us cracking jokes and making sure we all were happy. Anytime I sat their and vented to Marla she would always remind me how I deserve nothing but the best. You guys gained such a kind loving guardian angel! May she forever rest in pease.  ❤️ Love you guys!
