I celebrate your birth, Daddy. Without you born into this world, I would not be here today. I will always miss you, Daddy Dearest. You will forever live in my heart as my spiritual angel. 

By the way, Mommy is well. I also recently visited her cousin Sandra Hwang in Maryland. She is so amazing. She just turned 93. She survived the 228 massacre (2/28/47) in Taiwan. She was teenager when the KMT officers were looking for her Dad who they had labeled a political dissident. I like how she tells stories and has even written a book in English about her experiences growing up in Taiwan! When I told her that you had passed away, she said that she never knew you were born in Tainan. Her husband was also born in Tainan!

Daddy,  it's almost been 10 months since you went unconscious on August 26, a day I will forever remember when my heart sank. I miss you so soooooooo much. I wrote this message to you on Easter this year:

Daddy Dearest!

It’s Easter Sunday today. 🐣 It’s been 7 months since you’ve gone, but I keep my emotional support stuffed animal around with your jacket wherever I go so I can still feel close to you. I miss you. I miss your voice. But I love your smile here. 😊 This is a good picture of the 2 of us. I’m glad I still have this picture of the 2 of us. It’s a good memory. I know I have some of your habits. That’s how you live on… through me. I’m healing ❤️‍🩹 for me & for you. I’m working on my own healing so I can help us heal, just like you did to help heal others when you were a doctor. 👨🏻‍⚕️ I will continue to help others heal through my own healing, & there will be a ripple effect. I may not be a doctor with all of the certifications like you, Daddy. But I know I have healing energy too. Some people don’t understand it, & that’s okay. I’m used to being misunderstood by many. However, as long as I understand me the best, that’s all that matters. 😊 I love you, Daddy! ❤️‍🔥💚❤️‍🔥 So soooooooo much! ** HUG **
