Bill was my friend for decades. He was a fabulous lyric writer, and co-wrote many, many songs with me. Some were placed in films and TV, some recorded by myself and others. He was so funny, kind, creative , yet sometimes revealed a wisdom and understanding that was not readily revealed in his easy-going nature.  He was one of the best-intended, least malicious, most accepting persons I've ever known. He is already missed by all who knew him. Rest in God's arms, Bill. 

When I first met Bill, I was kinda scared. He was, loud and jelly. He had so many stories to tell. I learned so much from him.  He loved the world ! He would say, "Oh darling, I got the world by its ass"
Im gonna miss my time, with my crazy ol fart. I was his caregiver for 16 years.

My heart  aches at the loss of my dear friend Bill.  We knew each other since junior high! I loved his gentle spirit and sense of himor.  Could always make me laugh.  Miss him now and forever!
