

William Clinton Lane of Yorba Linda California passed away on Friday June 10th 2022 at the age of 91. William died peacefully in his sleep of natural causes. William was born in High Point North Carolina on December 20th 1930 to father Everett and mother Myrtle Lane.
As a young man he worked on the family tobacco farm. He enlisted in the US Marine Corps in 1946 at the ripe old age of 15, he served overseas during World War II and was honorably discharged in 1948. After serving in the Marines he went to work as a apprentice electrician.
In 1950 he married the love of his life Mary Branham. Shortly after their marriage they relocated to California to start their lifelong journey. William made a career as a Union Electrician and worked his way up through the ranks to a Journeyman Electrician running a crew for a local Southern California Electrical Contractor.
William loved to travel, go camping in the mountains with his family, drive his RV around the country, build puzzles and tinker with brain teaser gadgets. William was a true Christian man, this was revealed through his dedication to God, his kindness, gentle demeanor and his love of family. William was preceded in death by his parents Everett and Myrtle Lane, his wife Mary, daughter Terrian, son Keith, grandson John Feller and brother Harvey.
He is survived by his sisters Audrey and Earlene, daughters Kimberly and Treva, grandchildren Jolene, Christina, Crystal, Jeanette, Jennifer and Charlie, 15 great-grandchildren, 9 great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews for a total of 5 generations. William will be laid to rest beside his wife Mary at Rose Hills Memorial Park in Whittier California on June 27th 2022. May God give him wings and let him soar into his next adventure.
A graveside service for William will be held Monday, June 27, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Rose Hills Memorial Park, 3888 Workman Mill Rd, Whittier, California 90601.
William will be laid to rest in Rose Hills Memorial Park, 3888 Workman Mill Rd, Whittier, California 90601; Pinecrest Lawn; Gate: 1, Section: 6, Lot: 4140, Grave: 1.
