Vanessa was a force to be reckoned with ! The planner of all things fun , vacations , celebrations, gifts ! Vanessa lived with a pizazz I absolutely Envy!! We alll knew when it was Vanessa’s birthday Month  …love that about her !! She loved her boys fiercely and was IN LOVE with her husband! She was the leader for her siblings and the person who could smooth over any hurdle they faced .
Vanessa visited us when we had baby Grant and he loved her as well ! She showered us with gifts and I sent her many pictures as Grant became obsessed with the toys she gave him ! I will miss you my dear friend! I pledge to actually celebrate my birthday moving forward and grow some pizazz of my own ! I have fond memories of us growing up in Compton, like the time I begged the neighbor to give me a Roman candle during the 4th of July and I held you in my arms and we both held the candle as it shot fireworks in the sky.
