Tony was born in Nha Trang, Viet Nam on June 16, 1958. He graduated from Ba Ninh High School in Viet Nam and continued on to receive an Electrical Engineer Associate Degree from the Los Angeles Community College.

Tony was married to Josephine Felipe on September 05; 1995.They had two children Anthony J. Luu and Rachel Luu and lived in Northridge, California.

Tony worked as an Electrical Engineer Associated at Lear Astronics Inc. at Santa Monica for 20 years. In 2002 Tony saw an opportunity to live closer to his home Northridge and moved his job as a Mechanical Association at a RPM Inc. for 12 years.

He enjoyed singing, going to the movies, playing and watching sports. He was also actively involved in gardening, planting vegetable, tomatoes, Chile, lemon etc…for many years and was a dedicated member of the “Green Thumb Club”.

A diagnosis of acute Esophagitis at age 55 slowed Tony down but never stopped him.

In his last year, he fulfilled a longtime dream of family by spending a quality and loving time with his daughter; Tony never miss any Wednesday afternoon practice “cheerleader” with his daughter on the football field at Cleveland High school, Reseda.

Tony died at hospital with his family at his bedside. He will be missed by loving family, mother Phan Tu Anh, Brother Simon Lieu ( ex wife Vivienne Luu and three sons Johan/wife Katherine Luu, Oliver and Jason),sister Lay Luu ( and son Nelson),sister Lin Luu ( and son Ha Nguyen), sister Le Luu( and husband John Wade).Mai Luu ( and husband Jimmy and son Joshua),sister Lan Luu( and husband Tan Tran and two sons Andrew Tran and Bryan Tran),Brother Jonathan Luu ( and wife Lily Hang and son Kyle Luu).

Tony is survived by his ex wife Josephine Felipe, his two children, Anthony J., Rachel., his nieces and nephews; and the rest of his family and friends.
