Thomas was born on August 10,1940 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to James and Catherine Meagher. After graduating from the University of Minnesota with his bachelor's degree he worked a good portion of his adult life in the medical field in many capacities, but his favorites were hospital administrator to small stroke and rehabilitation hospital and physician recruiter where he got to use his knowledge, personality and gift of gab. He loved his church and was very active in the Knights of Columbus organization and in their many charities. He was extremely proud to be a 4th degree Knight, he served in many capacities including a year as Grand Knight.
Thomas is survived by his wife Patricia; daughter Sandra Nelson (Philip); son Daniel Meagher; stepdaughter Sheryl Wolf (Les) and stepson Todd Snyder (Cherie). His seven grandchildren were his pride and joy: Alisha Duren, Joe Nelson, Jesse Meagher, Kati Rombough, Christina Cook, Nicole Wolf and Kevin Snyder. Two great children, Gabriel Duren and Emilia Duren.
A visitation in chapel for Thomas will be held Tuesday, December 13, 2022, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Rose Hills Memorial Park - Memorial Chapel, 3888 Workman Mill Rd, Whittier, California 90601. The funeral service will occur Wednesday, December 14, 2022, from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at St. Denis Catholic Church, 2151 S Diamond Bar, California 91765-2981. The graveside service will occur Wednesday, December 14, 2022, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Rose Hills Memorial Park, 3888 Workman Mill Rd, Whittier, California 90601. Following the graveside service, a lunch reception will be held in Potthoff Hall at St. Denis Catholic Church.
