The one word that keeps coming up describing Aunt Teresa is classy.  Yes she was! She dressed that way too! My memories include the many weddings and birthdays, but mostly Christmas Eve. Every year since I can remember, Christmas Eve was at Aunt Teresa’s and Uncle Merles. We would dress up and drive to Huntington Beach, which was like traveling across the state at the time, only 45 miles but so worth it. The food, desserts and the egg nog and anticipation of the gifts was something I will never forget. This continued every year through so many seasons, boyfriends, and then with my husband and my boys. We were still doing Christmas Eve together, though by this time we had moved to cousin Steve’s for the evening that carried on a tradition I will always treasure. RIP Aunt Teresa.  You left your mark on my Family

We were so lucky to have your mom as long as we did.  She had a smile and laugh that would light up the room!  She had a heart of gold!  Every time we saw her she would talk about me and your dad, how I talked to him for hours as he watered.  She never let her health issues slow her down.  She was so strong and loved her family so much! She would always tell me she loved me and we were family. Teresa we will miss you!  Heaven has a new Angel. Rest In Peace...Love Kathy and Carlos xoxo

Terrie was one of the classiest people I’ve ever known.   She was always so kind to me and my daughter, and treated us like we had been in the family all of our lives.   People like her only come around once in a lifetime, and she will be truly missed.    My sincerest heartfelt condolences to the entire family.      Marie and Alannah. 

You left me with a lifetime of skills i know in spirit your here because for 3 days this hummingbird sits for hours on the feeder and looks in livingroom everyday and as anyone knows they have to fly all the time he is looking in now i am sorry for all the hell i put you true as a teenager but i have to say it was fun even in your old age you always ready for a good 15 round match i took care of you for 3 years and never look back this was my calling like my brother said i will see you for dinner but i might be a little late I LOVE YOU.

It’s the little things that seem to stand out the most— the smell of her kitchen making her famous enchiladas, she was never able to sit and just relax. She always had to be doing something.  The trips to Sea World and the 2 week vacations as kids going to Grandma's house. She made custom order breakfast and lunches for my cousin and I and I will never forget that.
I’m sure everyone here has memories much like mine. They are good memories, something we’ll always have to cherish. It isn’t often in our lives that we come across someone so special that that person stays with you forever. Grandma was that kind of person.
The only way to get hurt in this life is to care. Grandma cared more than most, loved more than most and was made to suffer more than most because of just how much she cared.
But no matter how many times she was knocked down or made to endure things that no one should, she just kept coming back; caring more and loving more. Yet there were never any complaints, it was the only way she knew how to live.
The kind of love Grandma felt for us was a love without condition. She may not have approved of everything we did, may not have liked some of the decisions we made, but she didn’t lecture, she didn’t judge. She just kept loving us, letting us know that she was there and if we ever needed her, we could count on her to listen.
It didn’t take much to make her happy—a phone call, a card, a visit or a kiss hello. We were the most important people in the world to her. She was so proud of us.
 We can never forget that there is a part of her in each of us, something that she gave to us, and forever will live on in our hearts. You will be deeply missed Grandma.

A woman of class and style who just happened to be my mother. She suffered through a difficult marriage and found a way to make it work for the benefit of us kids. Inner strength is the engine that drove her. I can’t put into words the love and care she gave to her children, grandchildren and great granddaughter. I can only hope to walk in that huge shadow. 
Now she will rest with my father. I will think of her often and remember everything that she taught me. I will smile at the good memories and laugh at the bad ones because I now know there were lessons to be learned from both.
It is time for you to rest and be without pain nor worry. My sister Kathy, brother Michael and I will see you for dinner sometime down the road and don’t be mad if we are a little late. I love you Steven
