Syd was a lovely lady with a beautiful soul, always very kind to me, as was her family. It was hard to hear of her passing. I know what it's like to loose a parent and a sibling and it's a burden like no other. May all who mourn be comforted. Peace. R Holmes

We loved Syd and John, Syd and I stood up in the wedding party for our friend Pam before she left for Tennessee.  Syd was also great at entertaining and they were both wonderful host and hostess.  Her smile lit up the room.  We will miss her!

My thoughts and prayers are with you at this very sad time. 
I feel so lucky to have had Syd as such a good friend in my life for so long. 
I have many wonderful memories of all the wonderful things we did. Raising are children, dinners and fabulous parties

Sydney Dooley was my husband, Brian Dooley’s grandmother. My first memory of meeting her was going to Belmont Shore to visit her and Grandpa Dooley at their beach house with family. We played a marble game (that I had never heard of) and got a tour of their beautiful home. I always thought how cool it was that they lived so close to the beach and Sydney seemed to love Belmont Shore. 

Sydney and John’s lifetime of love for each other is inspiring and heartwarming, the kind of love everyone desires and deserves to experience in their life! I’m so thankful to have known Sydney and to have had our son Rowan meet her last year. 

My condolences to everyone that knew and loved Sydney Dooley. Rest In Peace, Grandma Dooley❤️

Sydney was a dear friend of mine for many years.   We lived very close to Sydney and family growing up. I remained friends and enjoyed knowing her children as well.  Much love to her, John, her husband and children.
