Hey Nathan(bestie) 

I just wanted to say how truly sorry I am for your loss. I know how much you loved your mom, you always spoke about her with so much admiration and care. That kind of love was so evident and profound in the way you carried yourself.

I only briefly saw her during one of our telework meetings, you remember the one…when she was sitting on the couch behind you. She smiled so brightly and joked about how we weren’t really working, just talking. That little moment stayed with me, and it made perfect sense that your sense of humor came from her.

I wish I had gotten to know her better, but even in that short glimpse, she left an impression. She seemed warm, funny, and full of light. Just the way you had always talked about her. 

I’m holding space for you and sending you so much love and strength. If there’s anything you need, I’m here.
