Dearest Jane and family,
I was deeply saddened to hear about the passing of your beloved son Stanford. Though I didn’t have the chance to know him closely, I remember seeing him at the family home and services, and it was always clear how deeply loved and cherished he was by everyone around him.
His strength through years of illness was a testament to his courage, and the love and care you gave him was truly inspiring. Please know that my thoughts are with you and family during this incredibly difficult time.   
In the spirit of his faith, I’d like to share a comfort verse from the Bhagavad Gita:
“For the soul, there is neither birth nor death at any time. It has not come into being, does not come into being, and will not come into being. It is unborn, eternal, ever-existing, and primeval.”
— Bhagavad Gita 2:20
May his soul find peace and liberation, and may you find comfort in the love that surrounds you and the memories that live on.

When I came back to live in the States after many years abroad, I was like a babe in the woods. Stanford took me under his wing and helped me with everything possible, sharing his time and expertise with me. I will never forget his kindness. He will be sorely missed by us all.

Kurt and I are so saddened by Stanford's passing. He was a very special person who touched so many lives. We send our love and condolences to the whole family.

I am sadden to hear this. In high school he was always fun and made me laugh even on my worst days. May his spirit bring much joy and happiness
