I am aunt Shirley’s nephew from her oldest sister, Helen Marie Manko. Shirley was the youngest of three girls, Marie Ruth and of course Shirley. When Shirley was first married to Jack in us, he was a sheriff for I think Los Angeles, but you can correct me if I’m wrong and they took me on a trip to Michigan to the Detroit zoo my mother being mentally ill and having issues at home surely taking me to the zoo with her first husband Jack was one of the nicest things any of my relatives did for me on the mango side. Her second husband, Ed was a hydroplane racer and he was just an absolute delight. I love him to pieces. I remember that they had two children, Johnny and Victoria my brother Jimmy told me about Johnny’s near death experience on a hydroplane and which I didn’t know and I hope Victoria and her wonderful family are doing well as can be in the situation. Surely wanted me not to become a math teacher, but to come out to California to be an account with her I probably would’ve been rich and famous but being a teacher it’s giving me so many of Rewards. I’m glad I didn’t take it but I love aunt Shirley so much and I really really miss her to all of you in California. That’ll be at the funeral. I don’t know if you know that Shirley’s dad John P was Henry Ford’s Bro Gardner and electrician for the Ford motor company. My mom Helen Marie was the babysitter for Etzel and it’s just a wonderful history that we have with connecting with the Ford family. And also my mom Square dance with Henry but aside from that with aunt Shirley, I remember her smile, her laugh, her beauty, her support and love and the wonderful Christmas cards we got every year from her. I truly miss her, my love to Johnny and your family and to Vicky to your family from those of us at the mitten, John Church, Mary Church, Tim, Jen, Oliver, and Harper what and KATIE and Matt. Love from Michigan.
