Sarah was born on November 4, 1951 in Los Angeles, CA to Harold David and Mae (Greenberg) Fisher. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from California State University, Northridge in 1981. She married Ricardo Yanez on October 1, 1988. She worked in Information Technology at KCET for 31 years.
In her younger years, Sarah was an exceptional beauty, who enjoyed arts and crafts, and hiking. After meeting the love of her life Ricardo, her passions were their beloved dogs, home remodeling, and their joyful parties. She was known for her warmth, kindness, humor, astounding memory, willingness to help, and ethical character.
Sarah was preceded in death by her father Harry, and mother, Mae. She is survived by her husband Ricardo Yanez of Rosemead, sister Bena Fisher of San Diego, many in-laws, cousins, and her nieces.
Funeral Service will be held on November 19, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. at The Gardens Tent, 3888 Workman Mill Road, Whittier, CA 90601. Graveside Service will be held on November 23, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. at Rose Hills Memorial Park, 3888 Workman Mill Rd, Whittier , CA 90601.
