With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Rumuarda Chaleton de Perez, lovingly known to many as Carmen, who entered into eternal rest on June 23, 2026, at the age of 82. She passed away peacefully in her home, surrounded by the love of her family.

Rumuarda was born on February 28, 1944, in Cuba. She spent the majority of her life in Bell, California, where she built a life centered on faith, family, and compassion.

A devoted woman of God, Carmen lived her life guided by unwavering faith and a generous heart. She was beloved by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her kindness, wisdom, and unconditional love extended far beyond her immediate family, making her a mother figure to many whose lives she touched. Her home was always filled with warmth, comfort, and love, and her legacy of faith and selfless devotion will continue to inspire those who knew her.

She is lovingly survived by her daughters, Marie and Barbara; her four granddaughters; and her great-granddaughter, all of whom will forever cherish her memory and carry her love in their hearts.

Though she is no longer with us in body, her spirit, faith, and the countless lives she touched will remain a lasting testament to a life well lived. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Con profundo pesar, anunciamos el fallecimiento de Rumuarda Chaleton de Perez, conocida con cariño por muchos como Carmen, quien partió a la presencia del Señor el 23 de junio de 2026, a la edad de 82 años. Falleció en la tranquilidad de su hogar, rodeada del amor de su familia.

Rumuarda nació el 28 de febrero de 1944 en Cuba. Vivió la mayor parte de su vida en la ciudad de Bell, California, donde construyó una vida basada en la fe, la familia y el amor al prójimo.

Mujer de profunda fe y temerosa de Dios, Carmen vivió guiada por su amor al Señor, su bondad y su generosidad. Fue querida por todos aquellos que tuvieron el privilegio de conocerla. Su sabiduría, compasión y amor incondicional trascendieron a su familia, convirtiéndola en una figura materna para muchas personas que encontraron en ella consuelo, apoyo y cariño. Su hogar siempre estuvo lleno de calidez, hospitalidad y amor, y su legado de fe y entrega permanecerá vivo en los corazones de todos los que la conocieron.

Le sobreviven con inmenso amor sus hijas, Marie y Barbara; sus cuatro nietas; y su bisnieta, quienes siempre atesorarán su memoria y llevarán su amor en sus corazones.
