Thumbs up always Dad. 

My dad and I would do thumbs up all the time while I practiced football, became a way of saying I’m okay. Now my son does it all the time in pictures.. Miss you dad.

You  were always so helpful to everyone. I knew I could always count on you. You always were a reliable second opinion.  
You were family. You always looked out for my dad and would do anything for him. You helped him so much. You told me Dr Lee is my family so you are too. 
I will miss you showing up at the office, saying "Hi Sick" or "you're so sick" to the staff, and checking up on them.
You have touched the lives of many and are greatly  missed.

Our family has been a part of the Rodriguez family for 17 years now. Over the years we’ve had the pleasure of joining in many Rodriguez family birthday dinners at Petrillos restaurant. I will always remember how Ron Sr  would order  pizza and mozzy sticks for the table and then he’d tell us to order anything else that we wanted.  He always kindly treated everyone to the meal with a smile on his face.  There was one day where my parents, my sisters, our now husbands  (Alonso and Michael), and I went to watch Jacob and Luke play touch football at Covina HS. Ron Sr was there playing DJ/MC and as we were walking up I heard the song chacarron macarron playing. It was my first time hearing that song but it was instant vibes. I was smiling and laughing as I heard the chorus blasting through the speakers. As Ron Sr walked away from the tent to say hi to our family I noticed he was also smiling and laughing, he knew he was playing a banger haha. To this day that song will play in my head and it makes me laugh. Those were good times and these are great memories. Sorry for your loss Rodriguez boys and Tina. We’re here for you always.

Ron ( Mr. Viking) was one of the best human being that I had the pleasure to call my friend. He will be missed dearly not only by the people who loved him but an entire community he has left such a huge emptiness in our hearts.  Rest easy my friend till we meet again💔💔🙏🏼 RIP Ron 

Ron, I don’t even know where to start. Just know I will miss you Buddy. You were such an amazing person, always looking out for everyone and putting smiles on every ones face. You weren’t just my property manager, you were also a part of our family. We have so many memories and never ending conversations. I will miss seeing you every 5th  of the month “My friend”.

Thank you for being my property manager and one of my closest friends. You were the guy I called whenever I needed. You always went above and beyond for me and would always say “I can do anything for you Dr. Lee”. We would talk about anything and everything like cars or current events. When I was forced to retired due to health issues, you always told me don’t worry about.. I will be your eyes for whatever you need. I will always appreciate your friendship and partnership. I will miss  our early morning Saturday’s breakfast and think of you every time I partake in apples and Enjoy beef jerky.

This whole week I’ve been putting up a front, pretending like everything is okay, but the truth is I’m just trying to get by. I miss you uncle Ron. Your laugh was so genuine and you had a heart of gold. I’ll never forget this last Easter, you always wanted to show everyone in the family a great time. I always thought to myself, wow…he really put money in these Easter eggs for the Easter egg hunt. That was really cool, but as great as that sounds I realize that it was never about the money. You just had a generous heart and you always wanted to see your kids, nieces, and nephews smile and have a good time. Every conversation with Uncle Ron was genuine, he always kept it real and I’ll be thinking about that often. I love you Uncle Ron, watch over us. 

Ron, thank you for being the best brother-in-law, uncle and godfather for being a great husband to my sister and a loving father to my nephews.
 You always made everything extra fun for the kids. We shared many laughs throughout the years and all the memories of our youth.
I know this isn't the end. We're going to meet again  Love you brother!


I am so grateful to God for allowing me to know such a wonderful man. Ron you have forever changed my life. Ron always gave me such a hard time about everything (with love) but I know at the end of the day if I or my children ever needed anything he would be there in a heartbeat. As I told Tina, I know Ron is in heaven and already has his job as a collector of some thing or charging for parking lol. Thank you for ALWAYS having my back. I’m going to miss you FRIEND. You leaving us is gross lol.

Me and my uncle ron always messed with eachother. I found the best opportunity to mess with him, as he would always mess with me. This video of me scaring him brings so much joy, and laughter. 
My uncle ron always helped me whenever he was able to. I needed contacts? He would get them. They sent me a bill? He said to ignore it. I wanted help getting a car, he drove me to Glendale to meet someone and I was able to get the car. I will forever be thankful for what all he's helped me with. I will forever miss him calling me destiny, or summer. Even though I would get upset, i wish he were here to do so again. 

I’ve been blessed to know the Rodriguez family for 17 years.  Ron was my father in law, and he was always so generous. He was famous for always having a wad of cash in his pocket. I could have gone up to him anytime and asked for some money, and he would have taken out his stack of cash and asked me “how much?” Ron was so proud of his boys.  He always talked about their accomplishments and how handsome they were.  Ronnie is the oldest, so anytime Ron would see him he would always say “my first born.”  Ron adored his wife Tina.  Anytime she came into a room, he’d always say “look at her, she’s so purtty.” 

One time, Ron invited Ronnie and I out to lunch with him. My two cousins were staying with us from out of town, so I told Ronnie to tell his dad we wouldn’t be able to make it. Big Ron immediately told Ronnie to bring my cousins as well.  So the four of us met Ron at this Mexican restaurant. There happened to be a juke box there, so big Ron decided to put a song on.  He sat back down at the table, and all of a sudden I Don’t **** With You by Big Sean comes on. It wasn’t the clean version either. There were all kinds of cuss words being dropped left and right and the song was blaring through the restaurant.  Ron, not knowing it was the explicit version, just made this face.  It was an awkward but hilarious moment, as we all sat there with this crazy song playing all loud in a family restaurant . The song seemed like it would never end, but we all got such a good laugh out of it.  That is just one of the many memories I have with Ron. 
 
I know Ron is still with his family every day watching over them and taking care of them 🙏🏻. He will forever be missed and never forgotten. 

Words cant even express how we all feel right now, losing one of our dearest friends and part of  Dr. Lee office family, we will always remember and never forget you Ron, always coming in with a big smile and telling everyone (YOUR SO SICK!) I knew you as an awesome father and family man, always out there with your boys  and directing them through the right path, Your family will always be welcomed and well taken care of here with us, Thank you Ron for all your help and friendship we are going to miss you so much, our deepest condolences and prayers to your family, this isn't a good bye this is a, Until We Meet Again.

Ron,  You  were more like a brother than my friend. We shared so many great memories, family outings and more. You were truly one of a kind that can not ever be replaced nor forgotten. I love you brother!  Victor 

Uncle Ron you will be missed beyond belief and beyond words, from the very first time I was introduced to you, you did nothing but treat me like I was your literal nephew by blood. I never saw anything on you but a SMILE , and that is something I will cherish and keep with me forever in all my interactions , NO BAD DAYS! I will miss you asking me who we got money on for the football games and you calling me “the bookie”… I love you uncle Ron! 

I met Ron Sr. at his son Ron's and my niece Ally's wedding. I remember how he generously treated guests he didn't know very well. I am inspired to see that Ron Sr and wife Tina raised 5 good sons together and nurtured such a close family! I know that God will embrace Ron Sr. and in that embrace will be Tina and sons, for love never dies. All will meet again.

My uncle ron was a great jokester. a great son father,grand father, and uncle 
He always made sure his wife and kids were always fed and had everything they needdd. No matter how stressfull things were he always had a smile n positivity written all over him. He always checked on his entire family. Ill always remember him loveing to mess with my auntie tina and her responce to him was "really ronnn" 🤣  i thank everyone who always checked up on uncle ron. To his boys and auntie tina stay strong and i love you  guys so much💖


Nino, you were the life of the party! Every time we would see you walk in no matter where we were, you automatically made us laugh. 31 years of my life and not once did I ever see you in a bad mood. You were the person who changed the mood of an upset person to happy and smiling. You always put family first. One special memory I have of you was going with me at 10pm to purchase my very first car, you had to make sure it was a safe car for me and I remember you opening up the hood to check the motor, you checked the tires interior etc etc. I remember giving you a hug at the end of the night and you telling me you loved me and just want me to be safe. 2 years ago you went with me again to purchase a car at the dealer and we were talking about the very first time you helped me get my first car and how far I’ve came to now buying a brand new car. And what did you say at the end of the purchase?” I love you mija and I just want you to be safe” you always told me I was the daughter you never had. Thank you for loving me unconditionally. You will always be missed and so loved!

Thank you uncle ron for always calling to check in on me and for all the amazing marriage advice you gave to me. You showed me family is everything. I will cherish all the memories we’ve shared and I feel incredibly blessed to have known such an iconic and rare person that you were. I know you’ll be watching over my beautiful auntie Tina who (as you always said) was the love of your life. May your soul Rest In Peace.

There aren’t good enough words to let you know how terribly sorry I am about the loss of your husband/dad. That relationship is such an important one for all of you, and I wish I could do something to take away your pain. 


The times I had the pleasure of seeing Ron at Rodriguez/Meza events over the years, he was always very kind and cordial to me, and I saw the glint of humor in his eyes and heard his contagious laugh. It was obvious he had a playful side to him. It was also obvious that he had great love for his wife Tina and their five sons who all obviously loved and respected him very much.


May the wonderful memories made with your husband/dad sustain you at times when your heart hurts the most. May you get to the place where those memories bring smiles to your face and cause laughs to bubble out of each of you. 


No person is ever truly gone as long there are those who are left on earth who love and remember them. 


May God bless Ron, Sr. as He cares for him up in heaven, and may God’s love bring solace to the broken hearts of Tina, his sons and all the extended family and friends grieving right now.

One of my most cherished memories with my Uncle Ron was when I was a kid, he would blast my favorite Hilary Duff songs in our car rides and sing along with me at the top of his lungs.  He never failed to make smile and feel loved. I will miss and love him forever.
