Roger earned an athletic letter as an All-Star football player at Roosevelt High School.
After graduating from high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Marines and served from September 1965 to April 1969.
During his time in the Marines, he earned the following medals: Navy Unit Citation Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, and Good Conduct Medal. Roger received “The Purple Heart Medal” for his service in the Vietnam War.
Roger is survived by his two brothers, his children, including Michael, Michelle, and Antoinette; his grandchildren, Christine and Jacob Pradin; his great-grandson Alexander; and the love of his life, Adella Pradin.
As Roger would always say, “Jimmy Cricket!”
A funeral service for Rogelio will be held Wednesday, March 27, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Rose Hills Memorial Park - Memorial Chapel, 3888 Workman Mill Rd, Whittier, California 90601. Following the funeral service will be a reception from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Rose Hills Memorial Park - GardenView Reception, 3888 Workman Mill Rd, Whittier, California 90601.
Rogelio will be laid to rest in Rose Hills Memorial Park, 3888 Workman Mill Rd, Whittier, California 90601; The Gardens; Gate: 1, Section: 10, Lot: 7634, Grave: 2.
