First, we would like to thank every one of you who is spending time with our family to remember and to honor our beloved father. We truly appreciate all the support and are eternally grateful for all the calls, text messages and visits during this difficult time.

To know our dad, was to love our dad. Ricardo was a wonderful son, brother, husband, father and grandfather. If you had the privilege of interacting with him, he made sure to treat you like family. The doors to his home were always open for anyone. He touched the lives of many and was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. His loving, empathetic and charismatic ways were unmatched.

In many conversations, he would describe how lucky he felt with life. How proud he was of his children and how his granddaughters were his world.

Though his parting leaves our family with broken hearts, we find comfort in knowing he lived a beautiful life. Full of adventures and laughter. There was never a dull moment; Our dad always found ways to make light of situations. We will forever treasure, honor and reminisce all of the beautiful memories and can only pray you do the same.

Ricardo Hernandez, 54, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 11, 2023. His wife of 28 years and children were by his bedside at the time of death.
