Today June 25th would have been both yours and mom's 71st wedding anniversary. I'm thinking of both you and mom today and remembering how you two loved each other throughout all of these years.

Memories of my Dad:
I remember being at the beach and dad swimming so far out we could only see him as a tiny dot. He told me he had gotten caught in a rip tide but was able to swim back safely. Aye Dios mio mom would say. 

Another memory is  while camping in Kings Canyon with the Pastrano's dad decided to climb a gigantic rock in the middle of the stream. Once at the very top he realized how high up he was and wondered how the heck he was going to get down. Sometimes dad was just a little to adventurous for mom.

Dad you made these joyous memories possible and I am forever grateful.

Till we see each other again dad I will keep these memories in my heart.

Grandpa always remember birthdays and made them special. Glad to have had the opportunity to share in the joy of the littlest Felix Aria! Always in our hearts and never forgotten. 

Grandpa Felix-

 When  I think of  Baseball Season I think of my Grandpa Felix. He loved watching baseball from Spring Training  to the World Series every year.  He rooted for the Dodgers , but would also tune in to watch other teams on TV.  Spring/Summer visits would always include baseball talk. He attended a lot of my baseball games as a kid- even got to see a future Big League player on a few of my teams. I like to think I made his passion for baseball even stronger.
Thank You for being such a Good Grandpa! You'll be missed!

I'm very sorry to hear my uncle Reyes had passed. Uncle Reyes and my grandpa Joe look so much alike. The last time I seeing Uncle Reyes was at my sisters wedding. He was so excited to see me I think he thought I was my mom Lupe lol. But he gave me the biggest hug and took a picture with me. I remember him telling me to take good care of my dad (grandpa). I promise to do my best uncle Reyes. 


MY  DAD-

On  May  12,  2020  I lost my  Dad, Reyes Felix  at 92  years  old.  He fought long and  hard  but  we  lost  him...
One  thing though,  he  taught me  how  to  smuggle  Tequila over the
Mexican  border. In the days of a limit of 2 bottles, you put it in the kids pillowcase. But be careful when you unload the car!  Like with me, one time I forgot about the bottle and it fell out on my big toe
and left a big bump on my big toe for days.
Dad loved his shots and his favorite was "Herradura", horseshoe.
