Not only did she give spiritual sound advice she also was a sound listener. We will miss her dearly but thanking God she will remain in all of our hearts ❤️

We raised our 1990 babies together.  You were the babysitter for a little while for Danica and Jaleesa.  I will always cherish our moments of sharing the joys and trials of motherhood, our times sharing the challenging moments of ministry and our times that we prayed together.  

The bible says "Train Up a Child"........  we are the example.  The day you accepted the call to preach was the climax of that training.

Rest well my friend.

My Condolences to the family, Jalene was a blessing in my life, a friend and like a daughter, I will miss her dearly.

Dear Family,

Phillips Temple CME Church was blessed to have Rev. Jalene Edgerton serve as an Associate Minister and  Administrative Assistant.   

She supported Church and District members and always remembered the homeless and needy.  She was a perfect example of the Good Samaritan who went far beyond her call of duty.  Her work encouraged others to extend a hand to the "least of these."  [Matthew 25: 40]  

Rev. Edgerton will be truly missed by those whom she encountered.

To the family of Jalene Edgerton you have our heartfelt sympathy.
Earth has no sorrow that Heaven cannot heal.    Jalene and I go way back in the 80"s we were on the Usher Board together at Amos Memorial CME Church and we went to Leadership Training School together in Arizona in the summer.   She will be missed, she had a beautiful spirit.  She will always be remembered.

Jalene was a person with a kind and loving spirit. Always with a bright smile on her face. She will be gravely missed. God bless the family. She is safely in the arms of our Lord.

To the family I'm praying peace and contentment.  Jalen was a joy to be around. She was true in spirit and how she communicated with you.  We were good Buds and affectionally called each other cousin. I will miss you my sister but God was in control.

To my cousin, being only a few months apart, we spent the majority of our lives together with family and friends. We've always been a close family and have shared many laughs, tears and ideas.  The Bible says absent from the body is presence with the Lord. I know you believed this as we do. 
This family will always be close and we'll be there for one another so that this transition in our lives will become easier.

I have so many fun memories of my friend, (cousin) as we called each other and laughs! Rev. Edgerton and I arranged a church outing and invited other CME Churches to travel with us to the Clippers Game. Oh what fun we had! But the one funny thing that I'll never forget, was the Sunday she preached and started singing. 😊 She didn't hit many of the right notes, but she did her Best! Now Heaven has another Beautiful Soul! I know you're Rejoicing!
