PebbleGrove Apartments is where our story began.   I didn't know that when my DJ and your grandson DJ became friends in elementary school that it'd begin a relationship that completely transformed mine and Dayna's life.  

20 years ago when Dayna and I met and she invited me into her family, little did I know that I would gain a true friend, a mentor, and even my very first investor.   You've allowed me to be part of hard conversations and celebrations as we've navigated over 2 decades of doing life together and you never treated me less than a daughter.  

You established a standard for men that I didn't even know I needed until I understood how a man could successfully raise a daughter, the way you have.  Now that I have daughters (and a granddaughter) of my own, I truly know a man's worth and what it looks like to see God transform a man into a son and into a new father.

I wasn't his biological grandchild but he made me feel like one from the moment we met. He made me feel welcomed with his witty Grandpa jokes paired with his calm & cool demeanor. It always put me at ease when I saw him at family events. I would say in my head "Yes Grandpas here!" & I know I'm not the only one who thought this and thats a testament to the individual he was. He poured so much of himself into members of this family and it manifested into the values, traits, temperament and outlooks of the members of this family today. You will be missed but never forgotten Grandpa. Thank you for everything ❤️

Pleasant and friendly, Reggie always had a smile on his face. He went out of his way to say hello and seemed to embrace his role as a Trustee at his church, Covenant Blessing Fellowship. We miss him.
My sincerest condolences to his family.  

Greetings to the Lewis and Robinson families.  I thank God for every remembrance of Reggie.  We have been members together at Covenant Blessing Fellowship ever since Reggie began his membership.  Reggie was a brother-in-Christ who was always kind, gentle, friendly, encouraging and loving.  We were age cohorts, and I mention that because there are so few "true seniors" in the fellowship and that put us in a special group together. Lol.  Truly, it was a blessing to know and fellowship with such a nice, godly man.  He was  so helpful and humble, and at the same time such a jokester.  He will be missed and I can't yet imagine what being back in the sanctuary and not seeing him there will be like.  May the family know we share your loss because he was truly family to us.  Love to all and may God bless and comfort you as you await your reunion in God's presence with Reggie.

In the beginning, I guess you could say that I was the closest person to him. Like two young lion Cubs. Wrestling, tumbling... seeing who could run the fastest. We were only one year apart... we slept in the same bedroom for 18 years. And when Aunt Rita and Cousin Jimmy came to stay with us for a couple of months in '58, we slept in the same bed😊. At night, while laying there we would talk about a lot of things and that we wanted to play baseball, vowing to help the other if anyone of us made it.
After I got out of the Air Force in '72, with no credit, he co-sign for me to get the TR6 at  Ogner VW in woodland hills. In the late 70's we lived across the street from each other.  Me, Sharon, Kathy and him had good times when we drove to the  '79 Volvo tennis tournament in Palm Springs. While living across the street from each other Sharon and Kathy took the kids to see the Disney movie, North Avenue Irregulars at the Alondra 6. Remember that? Tam, Dana, Shane, Shawna.🙃 But you know, the incident that I had the most heartfelt connection with him was when he helped me paint my apartment after my divorce. 
I wish you were still here. Rest easy brother rest easy.

I had three great Protective big brothers. Robert (Bob), Richard (Rich) & Reginald (Reggie) Robinson. They took care of my sister’s & myself (Gwen), Jackie , Yolanda & Steff, and our brother Steve. I can remember my brothers making Go cars, Stilts and scooters we had sooo much fun. The boys would take Jack & I swimming. I learned how to swim because Reggie took me to the deep end of the pool. And to me either you’re going to drown or swim. Then he just pushed me in. Well Needless to say Reggie Robinson taught me how to swim. Lol thanks bro. Bob & Reggie Rest In Heaven tell mom, dad, John’s, Makeese & Makahi hello I love ❤️ & miss everybody in the family whom have passed away. Gone but never forgotten.

Reggie, It was so wonderful when you and the California family came into my life.  I remember that on my first visit, a flood of Kincherlow's showed up at Aunt Laura's.
You were one of the stand outs - with that big smile- that you kept every time I saw you. 
Your calm, cool, yet fun loving ways were always endearing to me and all of us.

I miss you and love you so much. I wish you were here. I loved when you always sent me birthday gifts. Reading the birthday cards was my favorite part. My favorite memory was when you took my mom and I to Famous Daves. I had a great time with you. I also loved when I was able to come over and spend time with you. I am beyond grateful and blessed that I was able to experience so many memories with you.  You taught me the importance of working hard and that things just don't come handed to you. You were stern and when you entered a room everyone knew that you meant business, yet you had such a loving kind heart and would go above and beyond for your family. I admired that about you. When I was younger, I was able to experience traveling because of you and when my mom told me that I was going to spend the weekend with you was one of the best times of my life. Even if it's meant we weren't going to  do anything I was still overjoyed that I was going to spend quality time with my grandpa. I'm grateful that Zion was able to experience that with you as well. They don't make grandparents like you anymore, so I will always cherish those moments. You taught me life lessons that I will forever keep with me. As I have grown and become the woman that I am today.  I knew what a real man is supposed to look like. A provider , nurturer, loving, caring and because of you that's the man that I was blessed to marry ,so I thank you. I love you and you will always be in my heart. I was so sad to hear that Reggie had passed.  He was a special friend, devoted to his family and firm in his spiritual beliefs.  This is a difficult time for those who loved him, and he will be sorely missed.  I will never forget his laughter, his jokes, and his smile.
