Thank you. Thank you for being there for my sisters and I when life got tougher than we could handle. You have been with us throughout this walk and I am sad to see you go.
Something I will always remember you by is...through all the chaos, step back and relax. You constantly reminded me to not sweat the small stuff, and the big stuff. I hope to be as loving as you and to never cheat in 31!

Endless thumbwar Battles, 31 Marathons, USC, Fishing, German Shepards, The Hat Collection That Was Hanging On The Wall Of The Backroom, and That Singular Laugh. All the things that remind me of my Nino Joe. My awesome Godfather. My parents met my Nino Joe and Nina Maria when we were stationed in Fort Ord around 1986 and the endless thumb wars began. Throughout my life we had all sorts of interesting conversations from my eclectic music choices, reminders of not letting little things get the better of my temper when I was a bratty teenager and future plans as a constantly evolving adult. My Nino Joe and Nina Maria never missed a birthday. Even when it seemed like I fell off the radar for a bit. There's not enough space or time to list all the things that remind me of my Nino Joe. I LOVE you Nino and will miss you for the rest of forever. See you at the next card tournament. 

Eleven years ago I first Uncle Joe (that’s what I called him ) when I was first dating Clarissa he made me feel real comfortable being around the family , then he introduced me to the card game 31, the game was on! We spent many of times barbecuing, family gatherings, card games  or just socializing. You could tell he was was loved by his family by the way everyone treated him and respected for the person he was . He was my brother in law but he will always be my uncle Joe. He battled though his illness and we all thought he would survive! but like I say to everyone God only takes the good. Uncle Joe you will be missed by everyone and there won’t be one card game that your name won’t be mentioned, There will always be a seat at my house for you my brother, Love you!

Im going to to miss you so much uncle Joe, one day when we we meet again we can play 31.
