Beloved Dad,
I will always remember and cherish everything you did for me, and the great times we spent together.
I will never forget the times we watched soccer games, your Chivas, and the Mexican National Soccer Team, and playing Poker!
I will always remember the fun times betting on the horses at Santa Anita and Los Alamitos Race Tracks with you! I will bet on your favorites: a gray horse and a long shot in your honor!
I will forever miss the times we used to sit in your backyard talking about life and us!
I will miss your regular phones calls to see how my family and I were doing, or to see why I hadn’t called you!
I am grateful that you taught me the value of hard work, responsibility, honesty, and kindness. As you used to tell me,” If you go out to party during a weekday, you better be ready to get up the next day to go to work!”
Thank you for your love and support, and celebrating all my successes!
Thank you for all the sacrifices you did for me.
Thank you for always being a loving grandfather to my kids!
My life will NEVER be the same without you.
I LOVE YOU!
Adios asta que nos veamos otra vez, Dad!

Grandpa Ralph,
Thank you for all the beautiful memories my sisters and I have created over the years at your house. We were taught love, laughter, and the importance of family every single time we were together in your home. (Oh and how to play Poker 🤫) I will miss your contagious laughter and our car rides together. You truly are the king of our family🙏🏼 On a lighter note, the picture below, I can explain. 😎 During this awful pandemic, I FaceTimed my Mom while she was visiting him and could not believe what I saw! He was wearing sunglasses in the house because A: He was cool + fashionable (duh) and B: He had said the house was “too bright” sometimes and needed his shades 😎😂❤️ His sense of humor will live on forever in my heart. I love you Grandpa, please watch over our family and never forget how much we love you. I miss you so much.

Don Rafael (as I used to call him), my father in law was an honest and hard working man of great integrity whose love and memories will forever be cherished!
I’m blessed to have had a father in law who was thoughtful and kind to me. He always made me feel welcome and part of his family.
I will miss going over his house to enjoy a meal, and then play cards, or watch Las Chivas play soccer! I will miss the laughters we used to have during those fun times!
I could go on and on with anecdotes of those great bonding times.
He was always a wonderful and loving grandfather to my kids! I will never forget when he walked in the hospital room to meet my son Alexander; I was just wondering who did Alexander looked like, and as I looked up, there he was walking in with a smile on his face, and saying (In his deep masculine voice) “hello, hello!” So, I thought, oh, there’s my answer. My son looks like his grandpa! Or when he met my daughter Sophia at the hospital, and I told him I was thinking of a middle name for her, either Daniella or Danielle. He said, “No, not Danielle. It sounds like a boys name (and then he laughed)!
I will miss your regular calls to see how we were doing!
Don Rafael will forever live in my heart and precious memories! Rest In Peace! ✝️🕊🙏🏼

I’ll forever miss your bi-weekly phone calls to check up on me, make sure I was getting better during a handful of medical issues. Thank you for making me laugh with all of your silly sayings ... or just your laugh! Thank you for allowing me to be a part of the circle surrounding Grandma, does trusting me to help care for her... thank you for providing me with hand signal directions to Dr. QUACKmayor’s office!!

Ah, I’m all over the place!! TIGHT SQUEEZED HUGS and KISSES GPA... lastly, THANK YOU for telling me to take a pic with you, so when your gone I’d have it!!

UGH!!! RIP TI-TI!!

I wanted to share that Uncle Ralph was a patriarch in this family, In the 30 plus years I knew him I have never heard him say a negative word about anybody, and I never heard anybody say anything negative about him, which is very rare in this world. A true example of a man who took care of his family. When I first met him he made me feel part of the family right away, he would be my dance partner at many family parties, he was about looking on the bright side of things & having fun. He help raise my husband and was truly a father figure in his life. He was more than a brother in law to my mother in law, Senorina, RIP, She had so much cariño & respect for him. He was there for her & her kids when he did not have to. May he rest in paradise, He will never be forgotten in the hearts of many. Sending Love & Condolences to the Uribe family. (pictured is Him & our daughter Breanna on her first Christmas & the other is with him, Beto, and his son, Fabian on another Christmas holiday. ) Love & Peace, The Beltran Family. <3

I have so much to say about Tío Ralph, I don’t know where to begin. I have a lot of memories, like when I was 7 years old, he bought me an Easter dress. It was so pretty, I was in love with it because when I would spin, it would twirl. When I got married in 1980, he took me to Sears and bought my wedding dress. When my mom was in the hospital delivering Beto, I remember being sad that I wasn’t with my mom, and Tío Ralph gave me half of his Olympia beer and I got drunk! It was my first taste of beer. Tío Ralph did so much for us; he helped my mom a lot with us. All that my Tío did for us I know he did it with all his heart and love. It just shows how much of a good man he was. The very few things I did for him and my Tía Lucia, like taking them groceries once in a while, I knew was not enough but I did it with lots of love and appreciation. I talked to him on his 82nd birthday over the phone because he was at Ana’s house. I remember telling him, “Tío, no le a ido a visitar en estos meses por el Covid, pero ya que pase todo esto, nos vemos otra vez por que no quiero que se enferme.” And he said, “No to preocupas. Gracias por haberme hablado, ustedes tambien cuidense.” He was one of the most important persons for me. Rest in Peace, Lucy Ramirez

Pops thank you for giving me life. This is just a few memories I have so many but just sharing a few. Taking me to a wrestling match and putting me in the front row and you grabbing me cause the wrestler fell right on my seat. Taking me to the Horse races and letting me pick out my favorite one. Helping us purchase our first Home. I going to miss your phone calls to go pick you up so you can come visit us and Mom. The joy you put in my heart when I would see you hug , kiss and hold my Mother hands. Padre Querido te dedico mi pensamiento y en mis memorias viviras para toda la vida. Papa esta en Los brazos del Senor🙏Te extrano y Siempre estaras en mi corazon

For 24 years of love , protection and laughter you gave me ; I’m forever grateful to have had a grandpa that was like my second dad. For all my memories of you are forever in my heart that I cherish and hold close to me forever . Best memories i created was always in your home by your side with my siblings. One favorite memory is me sneaking into your room to whisper in your ear , knowing that would tickle you. Going to miss your laugh ,voice, hugs, kisses but most importantly your presence. I love you with my whole heart grandpa. Rest In Peace my angel.
Love,
Amanda Brittany Alvarez
