To my Mother, Peggy. 
Mothers are the single most important person in anyone’s life. You will forever be my guiding light. My heart. 
Thank you for bringing me into this world, for loving me, caring for me, taking care of my needs, for guiding me, protecting me, nurturing me and molding me into the woman and mother I am today. 
You were the most amazing woman I ever knew. You cared for your children on your own. You were both mother and father. You sacrificed endlessly to make sure your family did not go without. You were selfless, giving, supportive, and fun! You gave me a wonderful childhood and a solid foundation for my adult life. 
You will always be loved by your family and friends. You touched us all in immeasurable ways! 
You will forever be the voice I hear when faced with the slightest decisions, the most difficult of situations or the most beautiful moments in this life. 
In essence, I AM MY MOTHER. 
I see you everywhere. Each time I see a daisy I remember how much you loved them and how happy they made you. When I see a picture of a giraffe, I remember your collection that you worked on for years. I have pieces of your artwork around my house and remember how proud I was of your talent despite your modesty. 
I will miss you mommy.
