We were deeply saddened to learn of Patricia’s passing. Although we first met more than 30 years ago and only saw each other intermittently over the years, the impact she made on my life — and on my family — has stayed with us all this time. Some people leave a gentle but unforgettable mark on those they meet, and Patty was one of those rare individuals.
Her kindness was effortless, and her warmth was genuine. Every time our paths crossed, she carried herself with such grace, compassion, and thoughtfulness that it became impossible not to feel uplifted in her presence. Patty had a beautiful way of making others feel welcomed and cared for, even in the smallest interactions. It’s a quality that not everyone possesses, and it is one of the many reasons she will be so deeply missed.
Even though our interactions were spaced across many years, the impression she left was lasting. My family and I often reflected on how loving and gentle-hearted she was. Patricia’s legacy is one of love, kindness, and quiet strength — qualities that remain with all who had the privilege of knowing her.
To the family, please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. May you find comfort in the memories you shared and in the love she spread so generously throughout her life. Her spirit lives on in all the hearts she touched.

I certainly know now how hard it can be without you. They say in time, but there is no time for this broken piece to be put together. You can’t heal this broken piece regardless of its time. You learn to move forward with this broken piece without your present. As time passes, you learn to dance with all seasons with this broken piece.

I certainly know life will direct me where I want it to go. I own and have full control of my story, my life, and my truth with this broken piece of sorrow without you. Your legacy will continue with the full memories that you left behind. There will be days that go by, and tears in my eyes from this broken piece of you will no longer will be in my story as I move forward with life without you physical present.

Ciertamente lo sé que Ahora sé lo difícil que puede ser estar sin ti. Dicen que con el tiempo, pero no hay tiempo para que este pedazo roto se recupere. No puedes sanar este pedazo roto, sin importar el tiempo que pase. Aprendes a seguir adelante con este pedazo roto sin tu presencia. Con el paso del tiempo, aprendes a bailar con todas las temporadas con este pedazo roto.

Ciertamente lo Sé con certeza que la vida me guiará adonde yo quiera. Soy dueña y tengo pleno control de mi historia, mi vida y mi verdad con este pedazo roto de dolor contigo. Tu legado continuará con todos los recuerdos que dejaste atrás. Pasarán los días, y las lágrimas en mis ojos por este pedazo roto de ti, tu físicamente presencia ya no estarás en mi historia mientras sigo adelante con la vida.
