Mrs. Stock is one of the nicest people ive known. She was very caring, and giving, and had a smile that could light up a room. I am pleased I had the opportunity to know her, she was truly a special person.

My late Joan and I first met Nancy in the early 1960's when her husband Larry was working for me at GE in Inglewood, CA. From that first meeting we have shared lots of good times together and have right up through this year. Nancy was always so happy with everything she did and I will never forget the time my late wife called Nancy to invite them to San Jose to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary but she said that they couldn't make it. To our big surprise they came walking into the restaurant where we were having a welcome dimmer before the next days celebration. That was a total surprise and Nancy made beautiful chocolate favors with 50 showing in big letters. Nancy will be missed by all of us. If I may share something I read that I know fits Nancy's thoughts:
Death is nothing at all. I only have slipped away to the next room. I am I, and you are you. Whatever we were to each other, that we still are. 
Call me by my old familiar name. Speak to me in the easy way which you always used. Put no difference into your tone. Wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow. 
Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes, we enjoyed together. Play, smile, think of me, pray for me let my name be ever the household word that it always was. 
Let it be spoken without effect, without the trace of a shadow on it. Life means all that it meant. It is the same that it ever was. There is absolute unbroken continuity. 
Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight? I am but waiting for you, for an interval, somewhere very near, just around the corner. All is well.

Nancy and I met in the 4th grade and have been friends thru grade school and high school. She met Larry cursing Central Ave and I stood up with them when they married. My father walked her down the aisle. She stood up with me when I married. We have stayed close friends for 65 years. We shared a million memories and tears through the years. My heart goes out to Larry and the kids and I will miss my friend dearly. Nancy’s smile will always be with us. 

Your daughter Jodi  loves you with all your heart!!! This is how I met you thru your beautiful girl!! I remember the last time I seen you in hospital your words were watch over my daughter!! I said Always!!!!  You told me to bring more lemon swabs when I come back tomorrow to see you on my way to work. But I came back again that same night and you just smiled 🙂 and the first one you grabbed and said more but you aimed for your nose and we both kind of grinned and you said I thought that was to small of an entry. We chuckled as you held my arm. As I was ready to leave, never forget what I said with a clear conscious and I replied what the “nose” part. I winked and said Jodi will be fine!! She smiled again. And when I stepped out of her room I knew then that was my last beautiful memory we shared. !!! I will also miss your breakfast casserole you made for My son and I !! You came in and smiled and said eat up!! Because life is short!! Can you do me a favor Nancy, say hi to my boy Louie and watch over him. Wrap each other with love and walk the heavens with beauty.  You both had the most beautiful smiles!! Until we meet again!! May your journey take you home beyond the eagles and bears beyond the stars may you fly!!! AHO!!!
