So very sad to find out that Mike has passed. I have not seen Mike in a very long time but he is never far from my mind. We met in high school at WCHS and he was as fine a human as God put on this earth. He was a humble man who had every reason not to be. The example of his character has served me well as I lived my life.  So many fond memories of the beach house, concerts, ski trips and much more. I treasure his friendship. God bless and keep Mike’s family. 

Just reaching out to let you know how sorry I am for the great loss of Michael to your family. We know that he is more alive  now than ever and that once again we know as believers in Jesus Christ that we will once again be united with those who have left this earth for their eternal home. Praying great comfort for you and your family as you grieve the loss of someone so loved and dear to you. Continued prayers for comfort.

I met Mike in the 80's. He and Connie lived up the street from my little hole in the wall Surf Shop. We clicked  instantly and next morning we were surfing State Beach Tower 5. We had a blast. Mike's heart was big and kind.  I will never forget his warm smile and laughter. His love and vision for S.E.A. (Surfing Expeditions and Adventures) left an impact on many kids and adults (especially the Mexico Trips). Mike you will never be forgotten. I miss you brother. Ron and Theresa Lieggi   



Mike was everyone's friend. There is nothing bad to say about this man. I was saddened to hear the news. I remember his love for the "WHO" way back in 73-74 while we were classmates at Whittier Christian. When I heard he married Connie I couldn't believe these two great people were united in a perfect match. Quiet by nature this kind soul will be remembered lovingly by whoever encountered him.
