Hello my name is Sarah and the beautiful Maria Elia Guzman was my grandmother. Her daughter Maggie was my mother and she had 4 children, Bernice who was the first grandchild, Marie, Raymond and Sarah. My mother Maggie and Bernice passed away a few years ago but I know they are here with us in spirit and would agree that we were blessed to have been a part of our grandmothers life. My mom told me a story about my birth, it was a hard labor and if it wasn’t for my grandma, she didn’t think she’d make it through. I believe this gave my grandma and I a strong bond, so strong that I called her Mama until I was about 7 years old. I lived with my grandma from the time I was 9 to 11 years old. She kept me safe during one of the most stressful times in my childhood and provided me with stability and comfort by taking me to church and doing simple things like making me Cream of Wheat or taking me out to lunch after church to Ciros. I was blessed to be a part of her life for 44 years and I can only hope that I made her proud and that I too am blessed to live as long as she did and contribute positively to my family and community as she has.

I was very fortunate to be there for my Grandmother's 90 Birthday 🎂. I will always love and cherish my Grandma for everything she has ever done for me .

My mom was a dear GODLY woman who served the LORD with all of her heart most of her 91 years.  She was a mentor and a true pioneer in the Assemblies of GOD movement.  She was well respected and admired by the many whose life was touched by her ministry.  She will be sorely missed.
