Thinking of my favorite memory of you tia my mind was like a hamster running on the wheel.. I couldn’t think of JUST one, so many memories just came to mind ,Putting it all together was so hard.. 

You were like my  other mom. From changing my diaper when I had the braces on my legs, since my dad would get poop all over me, to taking me to mommy and me classes with you and nick!   You treated me like I was yours and I love you so much more for that. I can see still hear your voice yelling at my tio Juanito for getting me and nick donuts every morning before school because that wasn’t  breakfast! .. then being the nacho lady at sacred heart and everyone always so confused if you were my mom too since me and nick were inseparable. Oh ya and making your own lane on the street because you needed us to get to school on time! 

Vegas will never be the same without you. Tia that one trip where you went with me and my friends..You were one of us! You wanted to go gamble and we couldn’t get a hold of you. The moment we came out of the elevator there you were sitting in front of the elevator with a beer in one hand and her purse in the other saying “poopers I’m lost” but with the biggest smile on your face ! You were one of a kind. My crazy loving fun tia aka my other mom. Just for you I’ll continue on with those Vegas trips! Oh and who can forget all Your trademark dances .. definitely unforgettable..Tia you  were the nickname queen, I’ll always be your “Poopers” ,  “Lizzy poo” and can’t forget “Marky mark”…. I’ll always live by those names especially poopers bc of you  ..I love you so much and will forever be your poopers! 

This isn’t goodbye, it’s I’ll see you later… we love you!!

Hi my name is Kylee and I love tia chonch but I never got to see her that much and I wish she didn’t have to pass I love her so so much she always love to party and dance with her beer. I just wish she was here with me and not gone. I love you Tia chonch may you rest in peace.

My Tia Chonch,
I don’t know still to this day why we always call you that, or where the name came from lol. But I will miss you Tia your voice, your laughter, and all of the hilarious stories you would share.

I’ll miss sitting with you just having a beer and listening to you tell stories about you, my mom and dad in your party days. Thank you for always loving me and every year always texting me on my birthday. (Never missing a year!) It really meant more than I probably let you know. 🤍

I remember the days spending summer at your house swimming in the pool every single day. You picking me up from middle school and waiting in the car while you went into ET Nails and you yelling at me to turn off the radio and not kill the battery haha. Making me my favorite yellow and chocolate cake on my birthday, or your all time amazing pasta. Hearing stories of you watching me as a baby and how I was the biggest cry baby, and you would put in the sink with water and I’d finally shut up. Lol

You are amazing, funny, and a beautiful soul. I love you and you will truly be missed, I’ll be seeing you again one day Tia. Until then always love your

Maria, Felix and Dominguez familia,

I remember growing up in my teens with Nick. One thing that always stuck out to me is how welcomed Maria and her family would make me feel. From going along to Nick's soccer games, going to family parties or just hanging out all weekend, I was always accepted with love and open arms.

Maria took me everywhere her kids went, she treated me like her own and always made it a point to include me. I can still hear her voice saying "Joey con papas!" or her singing "Te quiero muhco" to Robert when he was a baby "Que bárbaro!" you would say.

The countless times I made you laugh at the things I would say, the times you took us to Jack in the box, or made your Sincronizadas for us. Those are the little things that meant so much to me, those are the things I will never forget. Maria, I just want to say thank you for loving me, accepting me and for giving me a place to go when I was lonely as a teen. 

Until we meet again in Heaven... I will remember you down here.

We had the pleasure of meeting Maria back in the summer of 1976. She was a beautiful person,  many fond memories and good times.  She will be missed, may she rest in peace. Our prayers and condolences go out to her wonderful family. God bless, love always, Andy and Rose Valles.
