Manuel Humberto Nevarez

It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our beloved Manuel Humbert Nevarez who left us on July 21, 2024, at the age of 71. Although dealing with various medical issues he remained strong in front of his family until his passing, where he was surrounded by his loving family in his final moments.

Born in Durango, Mexico Manuel began to work at a very young age to help his family. Manuel later moved to Los Angeles where he met his wife. Manuel worked as a truck driver and welder. Manuel would drive almost 2 hours every day to and from work for 20 years; in his favorite 76 Chevy Impala. Dedicated to his work in those 20 years never missed work. He loved his yearly summer vacations to his hometown in Durango, Mexico where he enjoyed the summer festivities, and spending time with his family. On his days off Manuel enjoyed listening to music and visiting family. Manuels favorite food was spicy chili with meat aka “Chile Colorado”. Manuel liked helping people and loved giving advice. He loved nothing more than spending time with his children and grandchildren and rejoicing with their accomplishments. Manuel was a man with a caring heart.

Manuel Humberto Nevarez is survived by his loving family, wife, children, grandchildren, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and friends. A pillar of strength, with strong work ethics, and a caring heart is the example he left to his children. His sense of humor, and contagious laugh will not be forgotten.

A visitation in chapel for Manuel will be held Sunday, August 11, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Rose Hills Memorial Park - Memorial Chapel, 3888 Workman Mill Rd, Whittier, California 90601, followed by a funeral service from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
