I remember how much you loved your girls.
I also remember  Dezi was born and what a proud grandma you were. When Lorraine was moving to El Paso how hard it was for you and me both how we cried! We shared the love for the color purple (our birth stone) I remember one day we celebrated our birthday 🎂 and you spent the night at my house because my birthday was the day before yours! You and my brother David shared the same birthday! I remember various holidays over the years, but most of all I remember what a great mom and grandma you were! Now you have gone to rest, just know you will be thought of often and missed very much!

      Im thankful for everything you've done for my mom and I, when my mom was young and needed help. I may not remember a lot when you took care of me or when I was visiting but but hearing so many stories of you taking care of me and mom or just stories you told or i was told about me when i was little is what I will cheerish and keep forever with me because without you i dont know where my mom and I would've been. You will always be in my heart and be remember as big mom and as a grandma to me. Thank You For Everything.

Big Moms, the pain in my heart cannot be described in words, there's a big hole in my heart and it just got bigger, but I know that you're with my Mama🌹💜 but you Big Moms were another mom to me as you where to many others. You seen me at my rock bottom, and you got to see me at my best💜I'll always remember you telling me that you were proud of me, coming from you, that meant the world to me. Thank you for loving me like a son, you once told me you loved me like the son you never had. Thank you for opening up your doors and house to me and for the great cooking especially your breakfast, I brought some chorizo from the store one day for you to cook and you said you only get it from the Eastway Market😌💜it's hard to accept that your not here with us anymore, but I know that you and my Mom will be watching over us all. As I sit here and listen to Mandolay 4 times in a row; I finally have the courage to write... I still cannot believe you are not here sharing your presence with me. It all happened so quickly, and it still breaks my heart knowing I have to accept the fact that you're gone. You were a strong one back in your days, and you were also strong while fighting your last breath. Days pass and I always carry your memory with me. I look at pictures and I smile because I know you are now in a better place. All that I can do is talk about you and let your memory live on as I retell amazing stories about you.

Grieving has not been easy and I knew I couldn't make my life stop because I lost you. The pain of losing you is like no other. However, my world stopped when I heard the news that you were now in a new resting place. I miss your smile, your presence in your kitchen, your laugh. I just miss you.
Holidays won't ever be the same anymore, you were the spirit that kept the season alive. But hopefully, when I look at the Christmas lights, it will remind me of a bright woman like you. Every day does not get easier, it gets more manageable. There are days when I am happy knowing you are now dancing with the angels and other days when I cry knowing I can't ever see you on this earth.

Even though I was not ready for you to leave.. this was God's special plan and I am happy for you Nana, I am happy that you have had the chance to show me all these wonderful things about life and helped me change. I am happy that you are reunited with your family in heaven. I love you so much Nana, things will never be the same around here but I promise to stay strong as long as you are with me.  
But one day, I will dance on the clouds with you. I hope you loved your "Hustle Purple" nails I painted. Until we meet again. Please continue to send us all your purple sign, WE LOVE THEM!!!
