Kit Eng, age 98 died expectedly on March 23, 2026 in Monterey Park, CA. She is survived by her children Betty, Harold and John along with her sisters, Emily and Emma. She was preceded in death by her husband David and her parents, Ben and Lan Hom.
Born in Canton, China, she immigrated to the United States in 1951 to join her husband David.
She retired from working in the garment industry and concentrated on her love for gardening and her friends.
Visitation will be held at Rose Hills Mortuary, 3888 Workman Mill Rd, Whittier, California 90601, US, on April 17, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The Funeral Service will take place at Rose Hills Memorial Park - Memorial Chapel, 3888 Workman Mill Rd, Whittier, California 90601, US, on April 18, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
Kit’s final resting place will be at Rose Hills Memorial Park, 3888 Workman Mill Rd, Whittier, in the Garden of Tranquillity, Gate 1, Row 3, Lot 716, Space 3.
